Is this the best EOConline Yet?

I have to admit that this game has been the most interesting for me so far- end to end stuff as we say over here - as I've been in action since the start.The first one was ok, but went a bit odd with the hacking and backstabbing etc. the second was dull for me (TTW).

SO.. what do you think of it so far?

PS To everyone who obliterated me within a 90 second timespan last night in turn 60 - WHEN I USE A TAUNT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO RETALIATE STRAIGHT AWAY,ie WHILE I STILL HAVE AN LDA.

I've never been a repairship yet - thats an entire thread right there ;which is it best to be?

To be honest, it looks like a thankless task - though I want to especially mention ZeroExtreme, a lvl2 repairship, who tried to keep me alive in Corinthia last night;TTW took off 5000 HP, and he game me +7:wierdblu:

Sorry about last round Warspite... I was pretty bored too... but whichever way we had turned, we would have lost our HQ a lot earlier...

As for last night... of course we don't attack when you want us to... we just add you to the list. :D

Just a shame that I'm a repair ship. :(

I still thin game 1 was the best (pre hacker attack). The size of the fleets made it far more fun.. I want my danube cruiser back!

First game i joined EOC as Oman, when Ruslab was already FC. It was fun, but sad ended by those hackers.

Second game was boring.

Third game will be fun i hope, as far as i see, it's a good one, already with some alliances, naps, wars and possible treachery.

I hope it will last longer than the second.

I would say game 2 was the best: fast and furious.

I don't think game 3 or further games will be much better as the first and second until someone at Infogrames realizes that this game really needs some improvements.
During and after each game we collect a bunch of suggestions to improve this little nice game but nothing really happens.

the games going to get boring to us if it doesn't change some for the next round.
(more than fiddling with base stats...)

and I enjoyed game 2 best, because it was so fast and furious, tho I have many great memories of game 1..

I did not have much of game 2 as I wasn't able to play on vacation ;) .... and when I logged in back at home I was in 3rd Way an HQ was almost doomed. -> the game got slower and slower and slower and ... *zzzzZZZZzzzz*

Game 1 was fun! I was in 3rdWay back then and we had many level 10's -> we really toasted some ships in squad 113 :grngrin:

Hackers are ****! But it was always funny to see our HQ go down in 10 minutes *lol* and get it restored in 3 turns. It was the only real task at the end of the game. We were too uncoordinated to kill the HQ but killed every ship that we wanted to kill - except Hackers (with >100000 shields :rollani: )

Au contraire mon ami... I have been thanked many times for being a repairship... but no-one has ever thanked me for killing them! :D

I am a fighter ATM, only because the FC needed fighters at the time. I would rather be a repairship.... preferably a big one :)

I was a repair ship once in game 1. My first 10 was a repair ship but it wasn't my style, really. I like shooting and killing people. I did once make our HQ drop from 100% to orange shields by adding scrap. I'd been saving up for a while.

WOW! that must've been over 10k!!!
i was quite stupid when i 1st joined in round 1.i started as a fighter. i joined when Oman were at war with League. and i looked in comms and everybody said we are war with League so i just did what i thought best and i went straight into their space :)
i got to there HQ with about 15% shields left tho so it was quite funny :D

It's a pity you missed the most interesting part of game one - the war between the League & the Oman* was an absolute classic. One-on-one, with only superior tactics & strategey (& a *little* bit of morale-boosting help towards the end!) winning the final victory.

Great days - I really miss some of the superb pilots & great friends we had then - Blondie & Radiator have to be mentioned by name, since neither of them have appeared at all since.

Otherwise I'd go for g3 - g2 was flawed by starting over Christmas when activity was so variable, never mind the other problems.

And I've gotten even faster - been experimenting with different techniques. Now so fast I've got your problem, K. - so frickin' quick some other guy gets the finish...
