You're right of course... but a man can dream, can't he, even of the unattainable?

Actually fantasies about fictional characters reminds me of one of the episode of Red Dwarf – I don't know if you watch it – in which Lister and The Cat are lying on their bunks, talking about the animated cartoon The Flintstones. I won't quote it in full, but the essence of it goes something like this:

Lister makes some remark about how he fancies Wilma Flintstone, and The Cat agrees... typical male conversation follows for a bit, with things like:

"How about Betty Rubble?"

"Well, I'd go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma."

Then one of them suddenly point out the ridiculousness of their fantasy about a chararcter from an animated cartoon, to which the other replies:

"Yeah, let's face up to reality. She'd never leave Fred..."

But it's fantasy that keeps us going!

there does come a point when the speed of the connection is not utiliased to it's full potential....it is like havinga fast car and being stuck in a traffic jam......
