I have never heard such a bunch of pathetic loser's now I am not saying it's all of them but there are those who are going on about how they won't fight for the M.C.A because they only fight for the Navy, I can only say a few word's

IT'S ONLY A GAME

Your not fighting a real war

Maybe they feel insulted by the things that the MCA FC's said to the Navy FC.

It's a game, but when you ridicule, insult and belittle a well-respected leader and those pilots who are loyal to him, don't you think it's asking a bit much for them to suddenly forgive and forget?

A little basic diplomacy and (god forbid) politeness would have avoided this problem.

I'm not saying I condone their actions, simply that I understand them.

I am not upset okay, but what is the point of playing a game if your not going to fight for the faction your assigned too,

also I played with the League in game 1 and my heart will alway's be with the League, but it doesn't mean that I won't fight for any other faction just because they had defeated my faction.

I think that I have to play the part of an ex Navy Fighter caught by the MCA and used for fly on his vessels :) ... I'm already loyal to my old faction and I don't shoot on us.. But for the rest I'll follow the MCA Orders and I should try not to make the MCA understand what I think about my old faction..

Maybe thScorpionAlph has wrong in declare that he is still loyal to MCA.. If I'm a Rouge I must remain in unknown... :dark:

We're getting this in the Oman too.

Ex-Navy pilots refusing to fire on their ex-comrades. Refusing to follow the orders of their new faction.

Jesus guys, grow up. It's a GAME.

I was League at the start of this round, and when League HQ fell, I went with it. Now I fight for the Oman, just as hard as I ever did for the League, and I have no problem firing upon my former comrades. In fact, I saw it as my duty to my former comrades to hunt them down and finish them off, as a way of saluting their considerable efforts, one Leaguer to another.

It's true, players do have a choice. They can decide how to play the game for themselves. They can go rogue or whatever.

But seriously, if you're going to spit out your dummy every time you change faction mid-round, you may as well not be playing this game at all, because what this game doesnt need is people like you.

Ex-Navy pilots.

Play the game, or retire for now if you can't.

While The-Hawk was alive there was a point to disobeying orders.

When the RavenWing were caught pegging it out of the Eureka System, we were all split up. The rules we set are as follows:

We will not fire upon eachother's ships for exactly 1 round. If the other's ship still has not jumped out, you are free to fire.

We will cover eachother's backs. There is a prime example in this. Simply, say, Whitewolf jumps into an Alliance-controlled sector, I say "Don't fire on him for one turn, hit the others" and my pilots follow orders - simply because I'm harder than them.

Loyalty has to go no further than that guys. The Navy is dead this round. If you want to be loyal, come back to it next time round so we get some VETS for once! (yeh, we had our fair share in game 2, but hey! game 3 we had, like, none!)

Goodbye Alliance Pilots. May RL fare you well. I return for game 4!

I'm an Oman ex-Navy. I haven't seen any problems with the ex-League or ex-Navy people here. The leadership here is very understanding of our lingering loyalties and have given us our own squadron. Sure, we could make one without that official mandate, but all the pilots I know want to serve our new faction while maintaining our old loyalties.

Some people in the squadron may not have a problem targeting our former comrades, some do. But the Oman leadership understands this and won't give us orders that would test our loyalty to the Oman.

There are plenty of pilots who will fire on whomever their factions wish, there's still three factions worth of original pilots. Having a squadron that wants only to fire on the other two factions isn't a problem so long as they follow orders and only target those factions when their FC tells them to.

I agree with Spektyr (bet he wasn't expecting that one!). In fact I would say that if the MCA ex-Navy doesn't get their act together they are going to be in for a woopin' from Oman ex-Navy soon. Come on it isn't fun unless you fight! Don't make it too easy.

I guess I should say a few words here:

It's Turn 270 and The Navy is still in the Lead !!!!!!!!

I don't blame them for not wanting to fight for a bunch of jealous selfish unorganised clans. This Navy was mostly newbees and we have be gone for over 25 Turns and are still Number 1 !!!!!
You are just lucky I decided to quit or the Rogue Navy would be whoopin your booty all over the qalaxy........and lovin' it too.

But that is also why I did quit because you have to honor the team you're with even if you hate them and want to kill them all
you can't ....

LOL @ all of you complaining about this isue of IMATURE players refusing to fight for another faction (I don't agree with them but usually there is no way of talking them round, so you might aswel not waste your energy typing about them).
@ The_Hawk: How exactly would this ghost faction beat all of the remaining factions? please explain, I am puzzled
Also, I dont remember if you said it on this thread but I know you said it, You said that the navy still had a chance of winning this round. I find that quite funny because the Victory condition in this game is (And I quote) "To be the Faction with the last HQ standing" and given that you have "NO HQ" I am really curious as to how you would still win this round?

To anyone who does not want to fight in anyother Faction after your HQ is destroyed I say these things..........
1. Say out loud ten times "I will not Fire on My former Faction members because I am Loyal and true to their cause", Then think about the words and hopefully realise how stupid you sound.
2. Take a few days LEAVE of the game for some R&R, then see if you feel more comfortable fighting for another faction.
3. Simply don't play again until next round (Dont join a random faction just to annoy everyone in it.)
4. and last but by no means least Please make sure you accept your RANDOM faction allocation when you are A) Killed or B) At the start of a new game, this has to be one of the more annoying problems with thtis game when a minority of people either end up in the same faction every game or the same faction as each other every game. I understand this sometimes happens purely by accident e.g. Myself, Bfalcon and Lovemoose have been in the same faction every round, But what happened last round with Maas and Navy was no accident.

I hope that made sense (I am very tired), and I hope I havent offended anyone I wasnt ment to, this message is in no way ment to offend anyone, Take it as it is ment MY OPINION.
G'Night everyone :D
