We were just surprised thats all. This forum is open to anyone and everyone - I for instance cannot join squad 938 cos I am in the OMAN.

We did not know what faction you were in; if you are recruiting a new squadron for TTW, surely your ingame COMMS would be the place to do it? Unless of course you are creating a multi-faction squadron to spread peace and plenty throughout the universe regardless of colour or creed.... :confused:

Accully i'm really new to these big ships... the only entertainment I've found is the artifical gravity button.... Just throw on the seat belt and *poke* wait a few seconds then *poke* and wait for the crash of bodies hitting the floor. The joke got old fast. So other than that.. I don't recal seeing a manual around here... Maybe I got my ship used??? didn't come with one.. :cry:

Why on earth anybody would use gas stoves when we have superheated plasmaovens at hand. They are much much faster than any microwave oven I've ever seen and they can make your hand really crispy if you're not careful :D

Ah ! You remember the tree in my lavatory? It was beautiful. Of course that was in my Navy level 9 capital class cruiser. I crashed that sucker in Lucifuge when the Navy ticked me off, but I do miss the tree.
I have a new Oman level 10 Nova Class cruiser now and it is very cool. I had to put a tree in my lavatory again, otherwise it is hard for me to go comfortably. It gives me something to aim at when I lift my leg. It is a beautiful dogwood (of course). I have TTW servants who help maintain it, as they seem to have green thumbs.
My old capital class ship was called "El mofofo" after a plate of food I had in San Antonio. My new ship is called "El Espada D'Phx" since it looks like a giant klingon blade. The Navy capital class ships look like shoes, which was nice because us dog types love shoes. This also explains why I cannot have leather furniture in my ship. I would end up chewing all the furniture otherwise.
The Omans have been very good to me. I now have a ship full of genetically enhanced animals. It is almost like flying on Noah's ark, except without the smelly humans littering everywhere. I have LT. Owl on Navigation, since he is able to spin his head around and look at 360 degree hologram we use for navigation with greater ease than a normal human. Lt Octopus handles weapons, thus allowing for faster weapon launches. (The only thing is we cannot understand anything she says in her water filled suit; so she uses a special computer adapter that transforms her thoughts to words. It is too much hassle! I may have to eat her.)
Commander Cow is my second in command, but she irritates me too. When she stands there with her udders, it is too distracting. I may have to eat her too! :wierdblu:

Well the TTW are used to take care of the tree, but I also use MCA janitors to clean things up, because they love the smell! Of course we keep them in the back of the ship so as not to stink up the rest of the ship.

I used to have an all human crew.I grafted the tree Lightspeed gave me in my bathroom.It was maintained by the cleaning crew.Lovely.......
The crew didn't make the ship stink.The kept it in tip top condition.Weapons were controlled by a very advanced(and sentient) A.I.Well,ok,not A.I,cause he can think and all,and he was a real joker too.I just had to connect him to the PA system,so he could be heard everywhere on the ship.No one minded,cause he was great company.You should see him at work on the missile launchers!Navigation was done by a human.He had a special helmet which projected information right into his retina,so no matter where he looked,he could still see vital things like heading,LDS drive status,ETA and all that.The bridge crew was the best I've ever had.The same goes for the other crew too.The galley's chef was the best.He used to cook food for the Maas Corporation before the company's demise.The galley was always packed.His dog food was the best. :yum:

My crew was blown up in the sneak attack on me by the league and Navy.... At least partly. Me computer survived, and kept their personalities on storage. The bad part? Well, the computer absorbed a lot of their personalities, and they were'nt exactly normal... The guy at weapons, he was so agressive we just kept him sedated out of battle. The guy at comms never stopped blabbering, and the guy at nav never knew where he was... but only where the ship was. I'm not even going to start about the guy working at information.... The guy at scans was deaf, so he kept shouting out that enemies were astern even after they were blown up... He never quite understood what war it was either... He kept shouting "Shoot those oman scum off our bow!" when we were hunting league... The cook, who thought he was the coolest person on board... the janitor, who was off his top, raving and mumbling constantly, and the second in command, who thought he was a member of the resistance in some or other war... So imagine me accessing my computer now... it keeps saying things like Where are we?, SHOOOOOOOOOT! FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE FIRE YOU *************! , Did I ever tell you about my second cousin on my mothers side? (Three times...), E is in fact not MC squared, but multiplied with itself.... (Old theory... and they are one and the same. He managed to find the names on the ships, which was enough for me...) Shoot the MCA scum! (which has given me a bit of problems...)Yo! My Gosh! He is back! spod007! The original guy who started this wierd thread. He must have woke up (darn!) He apparently just realized that he is Oman. It appears that he has lost his way. i chose 938 simply coz their was a bit of bitchiess in the third way when a guy created a squad and chose 666 as his squad number.Loadsa ppl hurled all sorts of abuse at him saying it was offensive.So i sent messages back tellin em to shut up, and argued on his behalf, and i shut 'em all up.told 'em i was a satan worshipper and i found christians offensive, just to shut 'em up, and it worked.But i chose not to offend ppl coz i can't be bothered argueing sometimes.It was also my boraxian squad number on TVS, so it was the first number that popped into my head.

i chose 938 simply coz their was a bit of bitchiess in the third way when a guy created a squad and chose 666 as his squad number.Loadsa ppl hurled all sorts of abuse at him saying it was offensive.So i sent messages back tellin em to shut up, and argued on his behalf, and i shut 'em all up.told 'em i was a satan worshipper and i found christians offensive, just to shut 'em up, and it worked.But i chose not to offend ppl coz i can't be bothered argueing sometimes.It was also my boraxian squad number on TVS, so it was the first number that popped into my head.

Sorry, but you are wrong. A denomination is a particular sect within a religion, e.g., the baptist. In fact the term is usually used to describe a particular division within a sect, e.g., the Southern Baptist as opposed to the American Baptist convention. Many other religions have denominations as well. The moslems are usually broken up by the the leader that they follow, while jews usually break up between Orthodox, Conservative, and Liberal teachings. Christianity when taken as a whole, i.e., when you lump all the denominations together is considered a religion. As such Christianity is a group of people with a set of beliefs, viz., that Jesus is the Messiah, who came on this earth, died for our sins, and rose from the grave - thereby conquering death.

If you hate Christians, then it is considered racist since racism is basically hating a particular or peculiar group of people.

I was a religion major in college, and have studied most of the religions. Personally I would agree with you however, that the number 666 should not cause a Christian to freak out. The number is used in Revelations. I have always felt that if the Bible could use a word (or number as the case may be), then we should be able to use the word as well. The number 666 in and of itself has no real significance, any more so than the number 667. It is only a problem in context within which it is used. If, as it states in the bible, the world requires all citizens to have the number stamped across their foreheads, so as to buy goods and survive - then Christians should take notice. Otherwise, there really should be nothing to worry about. Of course the Bible also makes reference to the fact that this is the number of the anti-christ, but using the number in a game should not bring any Christian into eternal peril. As far as I am concerned my God is greater than any number, and therefore I have nothing to fear. I think, if anything, pirates used skull and crossbones on their flag, so as to strike fear in their enemies. If a gaming team using the number 666 to scare off their enemies, and it actually works, well more power to 'em.

You know your religion, but i would still say that satanism is a denomination of christianity, because the devil comes out of christianity, and satanists believe in the messiah too.I'm glad you realise that 666 is from revelation though.But i would like to stress that i'm not a satan worshipper!Nor have i ever been.I said it to annoy some people that were annoying me.The people that say they found 666 offensive.So i'm not really a satan worshipper.And a religion is not a race, so even if i really did hate christians, i wouldn't be racist.I also study religions,like you but would like to point out that it wasn't even me picking 666 as a squad number.I was merely backing up somebody that got a lot of grieve for choosing that number.Check the previous messages to find out the whole story.Thanks.
