Currently there are only two factions capable of winning this. The M.C.A., or the Oman.
It is up to you to decide who is winning, and who will win!
If you want give reasons, but you don't have to.
To all you MCA who plan to vote, you might aswel vote for US in the Oman "Save yourself the Embarrasment ;) "
Well, the way I see it:
If M.C.A. can not take Oman out now they will newer do it.. ..unless Oman make some BIG mistakes. Next turns are critical but we will see..
Anyway my opinnion is; OMAN will win :angel:
Without scan and lower level of ships M.C.A. have a hard times.. ..and Oman happens to be BEST squad in the game, Bloody Angels so NO WAY we can lose!
Too right... :)
Don't forget the DS... they're always good for raising chaos... and the SOS (not quite sure what they're good for though...) ;)
Bloody Angels rule though...
Time to fly the flag, I think. :D

as far as I'm conserned the game has ended. well almost. Iam hopeing that this time next week that game 4 may be started... either that or Sunny-D will be chasing smirfs accrossed the galixy.

I admit that since we smurfs haven't succeeded in a serious offensive all game, it's difficult to see how we could actually win. However, we have also been outstandingly determined and creative in defence, frustrating attack after attack on our base and emerging the stronger for it each time.
No 2 factions could take us out before, so what chance do the Oman have on their own? We're all looking forward to their next attempt, so we can turn our destroyers into cruisers & kill a few more of their 10s. Longshot will last for a bit yet...
So a big draw beckons, I reckon. Joint First for the Smurfs, with us having most points. Not bad for the faction everyone else said would be first out!

No 2 factions... only because you were the only ones left apart from the TW/Oman alliance...
If the TW hadn't tried some fiddling and were delaying while we were assaulting you... and if you guys weren't aiming for us intentionally, the MCA might have fallen...
I suspect that Romeo was embelishing the truth *slightly*, but that's part of the FC game... :)
The reason that the Oman succeeded where the alliance failed - we didn't have to watch our backs against a (potentially) hostile fleet and could worry about the assault. Another factor was Roger Rabbit's being in the front line... if he'd stayed at home in MCA space, we'd never have found out that he was the FC and you guys would have had scans with which to upset us... :D
Much credit to Romeo though... good job on keeping your guys together.
Apologies though to the TW fleet... we simply couldn't allow you to stay so close to our HQ... which is why I targetted your FC's whenever we could work out who it was... and if you guys hadn't attacked us after Ben was killed, we'd probably still be trying to fight you guys off of our base. ;)
Most thanks to all: To all the Oman pilots who put up with me for my time as FC... you guys deserve all the credit... :tdown:

I'd like to join you white wolf, but unfortunately I promised my wife I would skip game 4, and not play till I bought her a house. My brother, lone wolf (a vet that was never mentioned on the vet's thread), is also skipping game 4 for his own reasons (mostly keeping his wife happy too). I was thinking though that it would be cool to have all of us in one squad: captcoyote, white wolf, and lone wolf. It could be the big dog squad. Unfortunately somebody would think we were multi's. The other thing is, you probably would not like being in the same squad as my brother and I. We are both old farts over 40, and we are grumpy and we tend to tick people off. This is another reason why we really need to take some time off. We need to mellow out! :bored:
Well, if at some point in the future the Wolfpack Squadron gets revived for another chase, you're all welcome to join the hunt!
