View Full Version : Epsiode II AOTC
Who has tickets?
who is goin to see it?
Im goin on Thursday 16th at 17:30pm and I am really looking forward to it.
I'll go and see it when the horde's have left.
watching a film with a few hundred kids all yaking at once put's me off seeing it straight away.
plus I'm not that excited about it realy.
good point.
I was a little worried about watching it in our local cinema because they dont use predefined seat numbers but I decided to hell with it, I'll just go early.

I'll see it when the crowd has died down somewhat. Around my area there was lines just to see Spider-Man. It also kind of ruined it for me seeing Episode I with these stupid @$$ kids yacking their mouths off.:madred:

I'd rather go see Spiderman tbh =) cinema seats are a tad too uncomfy specially last time i went to see LotR OMG how sore... anycase. i'm happy to wait for it to come out to rent on DVD better picture and better sound quality in my bedroom
32" widescreen with dolby 5.1 rigged in there. who needs ya flicks
ME ! Next week ! ...hey..I didnīt know that Palpatine becomes The Imperator later in Episode 5 and 6....did you know that ?
I knew it was palpy, but only because he is mentioned as Emperor Palpatine in a lot of the games.
Whitewolf
13-05-2002, 07:01
I thought the emperor was that guy who trained Darth Maul?
I thought that too in the beginning...but I think that guy will die in Episode III and Palpatine gets the new one....
you guys obviously havent been paying attention.
Palpy is the guy who trained Darth Maul
Didnt you notice when he is talking to Anikin at the end of Ep 1 and he calls Anikin "Young Skywalker", wich is exactly what he calls luke in ROTJ
Whitewolf
13-05-2002, 13:25
That makes sense. But I've always thought that Palpatine was a good guy.heh.I need to watch the Star Wars Trilogy again.
yeah he does seem like a good guy, but that is the power of the Dark side. Even yoda cant sense he is capable of the force.
His actual name is Darth Sidius
Whitewolf
14-05-2002, 17:56
*nods*
Funny how he can sneak away without Padme knowing of it.

14-05-2002, 19:54
Its the same guy. The same actor, I mean.
The guy who plays Emperor Palpatine in 4, 5 and 6 is the same guy that plays Senator Palpatine in 1, 2 and 3.
Which yes, is the same guy who plays Darth Sidious.
Whitewolf
14-05-2002, 21:56
Wow......
It's been nearly....what,20-30 years since the original Star Wars!
But since we only got to see Darth Sidious' mouth and chin,well...
I suppose we won't know how much the actor has changed.
w00t, 14hours to go :D :coolred: http://www.theunholytrinity.org/cracks_smileys/ups/unknown/lsvader.gif
I am going next week....MAY THE POWER WITH YOU !
May the Force be with you Diablo, the film ROX.
Unfortunatley there is a lot of boring scenes throughout the film but lets just say that the last 30 - 40 mins make up for it :D
Well I will see it then.... I hope Amidala īs T-Shirt gets teared up !

Good flick, most enjoyable!
Spent most of the film being upset with the CGI Yoda.... Just isn't the same as the puppet... However, the little green fella certainly redeems himself near the end... :coolred:
Di - You're in luck Amindala's t-shirt does seem to shrink for no apparent reason in one of the fight scenes. :rollani:
Hey! I wasn't going to bother watching the film until you said that!
Now you've set me a terrible dilemma... :confblue:
I knew that she would loose her shirt....hmm...First I kill that amateur Anakin and then I get her to marry ME ! :yum:

I think most people who play EoCO are between 20 and 30.
once again another thread where I am the youngest to be reading.
not that far behind but I am only 18.
Hey ! I saw Star Wars Ep2 yesterday....really great film...MUCh better than the first part...and extremly important for the plot lateron....
But even the few mintues where Jar Jar Binks were there , he annoyed EVERYONE in the cinema !
DIE JAR JAR ! DIE !

24-05-2002, 12:09
You know what I reckon? I reckon everyone who hates Jar Jar Binks is racist.
There is no feasible reason anyone should dislike Jar Jar any more than the other characters, unless they specifically dislike him because he's a Gungan.
A racist ? :lolblue: Only because nobody likes him ? He is dumb ! And annoying ! This character is useless and makes absolutely no sense at all !

I quite liked the 'Big Boss Gungan', He at least provided value to the plot. Jar Jar was included purely to up the merchandising profits with the kiddies... He serves no purpose.
RIGHT ! Episode one was fully for smalll children....
Hmm.. I got hungry..does someone have a jar jar burger for me please ?

Jar Jar was pretty fundamental to the plot. No-one has ever been able to explain to me why they find Jar Jar Binks annoying. They just say he is because everyone else does.

ummmm.... Don't agree with you on this one...
JJB is taken as 'a guide' through 'The Planet Core' did he give directions - no. He cowered in the bottom of the sub going 'Me-sa not like this'.
JJB is made a General in the Gungan Army... - please! He should have been sent away for his own safety. ( and the rest of the Gungans).
