My favourite feature is the one where if you create or reply to a thread, the forum marks it as unread.....:rollani:
I don't have to read it. I wrote it....:wierdblu:

You're in a good mood today :lolblue:
Just in case this works (seen it on some forums -> ADMIN, PLEASE IMPLEMENT !!! ;) )
This is the text that should have the same color as the background
Not implemented ... didn't I say so :grntngue:
I seem to remember the syntax is:
(spoiler=white)Text(/spoiler)
...but with square rather than curly brackets of course...
The trouble is, the backgraound colour of sequential messages alternates between white (which allows this to work) and pale blue, which doesn't. I don't know it there's a way round this.

Well, the text is always black,so use a colour that will mask the words despite the background colour.

Write shorter spoilers, perhaps?
How do you believe they control the change of the background-color ??? -> It is a variable ... and as it is a variable it can be read easily ... so the textcolor needs only to be changed to the backgroundcolor

Isn't the background colour different every alternate post?
Well it changes betweeen white (#FFFFFF) and this blue-thing(#B6C3D2).
Those are the 2 colors used and I guess the script will just change the variable for each tablerow.

im guessing from what i can gather (im slow leave me alone) that your trying to make some text the same colour as the BG so that its "invisible" so to speak ? if you dont mind me asking... why ?
Some forums are about games. If you want to help another person that got stuck in the game, you can't write SPOILER in the topic because he asked his question first and probably did not insert it.
The only thing you can easily do right now, is to write "SPOILER" in the text and make many many empty lines of text, so those who enter accidently don't ruin their gamefun.
What I have seen on another forum is a vB-Code that makes the textcolor like the backgroundcolor and so the text becomes invisible.
Only those who really want to read the lines - and therefore mark them - will be able to read it. - Thats all ... but let me think of another solution...

unfortunately marking-color is also influenced by text hidden with [ alpha=0 ] --> hiding the text really only works with setting the color to the backgroundcolor

why dont you just send someone a pm, for hells sake?
And all the others seeking help for the same problem ... and those who do not want to admit that they are cheating ;)
when I have a chance I will try to implement [spoiler]
