I'll give you just one: Raul - Diego Tristán
look them closely as well as other player called Valerón

Who says England and Argentina are even the teams to go for in that group?
Nigeria can beat any of the other three teams - if they are in the mood.

Heh, there are others too.....Henry - Trezeguet.

To be honest, I don't really fancy Nigeria's chances. Yes, they can beat anyone...but for me, their defence is too weak. They'll struggle to hold back the English, Argentinian and Swedish attacks. Although they have a very talented attack, the other 3 nations all have very strong defences on their day, and have the ability to cut out the Nigerian attacks, hit them on the counter with the pacey players and knock the Nigerians back.
My predictions would have to be either England and Argentina, Sweden and Argentina or England and Sweden....I'm hoping for the latter, natch. :D

I thought Henry was injured a copule of days ago and cannot play, or at least that is what they said on TV when I saw the France-Belgium friendly match... Anyway Wiltord is a nice parter for Trezeguet too.

Sweden? I do not think they will even pass the first round! Argentina and England are 2 great teams and fovourites, especially Argentina, but If I have to bet for the final four teams I would say Argentina, France, Italy and Spain. I tink England will be eliminated by one of these teams.

Well I only meant I hope Sweden get through the first round, cos I really doubt if they'll get any further :grntngue:

Argentina. They're a strong team and stand a fair chance, but I feel they have too many weaknesses. The main two being their lack of strength when defending against corners etc, and their defence is also too slow, they'll struggle against pacey opposition.
France. Good all round team, but don't play to the top of their ability often enough.
Italy. My personal favourites to win the competition. Vieri and Totti up front, their midfield is a little weak in comparison to the rest of the team, strong defence and two or three world class keepes.
Spain. They have the ability but are never at their best, which is a shame because they could really light up the tournament
I'd go for Italy, France, Brazil and Argentina for the last four.

I hadn't heard about that to be honest. Even though Wiltord is a good player, he's no where near the class of Henry.
