Outcast DVD: desperate to get my hands on it!!

How can this be? It was awarded some European DVD award back in 2000, it MUST be available somewhere.

What difference from CD release? How did they put music, since DVD cannot be in mixed mode, like CD do...

Well sadly the DVD like the "Exclusive"-version of the CD-release are discontinued.

I was like you really desperate to find the DVD-release of the game, and I searched for a very long time without any luck, until one day in April 2005 when it seemed like there was this one guy that had put his copy of the DVD for sale on ebay.de

It was some serious bdding going on, and it ended up to be quite expensive. But hey at least i won the bidding and the Outcast DVD were on its way to me in Sweden.:)

2 weeks later the package arrives and with great anticipation I ripped it open, only to find the CD-version of the game, and as if that wasn't enough of a disappointment it was also in german. :rolleyes:

Back to square one. I since that day I lost faith i ever reach to square 2 ever again.

But, a day in January this year I stumbled over a review of the DVD-version of the game on the Swedish gamingsite called "Fragzone" (www.frazone.se).

I e-mailed the guy that made the review 4 years earlier and asked him if he stilled had the game our at least knew where to find it.

He answered me back right away and told be that the outcast DVD was still in his posession. I asked if I could buy it from him
(I excpected to get close to ruined ) but surprisingly he wanted to send it to me for free :bravo:
I had to ask him why, I he just said he never really liked the game and It would be a shame to not give it to a serious fan. :)


I know that this story doesnt help your situation very much, but maybe it can encorage you to keep searching and not give up.
Maybe you can find a reviewer close to you that may have the DVD-version of this awesome game.

Don't you have a right to return your CD-copy of Outcast back to seller, and require to pay you pack?

I just put it up for 150$ at first, but hey since its so hard to get this game maybe i can get even more for it? ;)

Yes I can sell this game to the right price since I'm cleaning out my PC-game collection. You know my post is over 2 years old...
