Tragically, the best way to help you would be to put you out of your misery permanently.

Take the game and burn it on a large pyre. Only then will your suffering be eased, and your Karma restored.

My new motto? It's exactly the same as my last one. I've just changed it to Latin. But thanks anyway! :D

Screama, are we mocking this harmless and delightful new member for the sake of it?
OR because she is DANISH?

Another motto -(please indulge me)

"Cogito, ergo non satis bibim"

"I think, therefore I have not drunk enough"

(Thats a motto for the barbarians amongst you. Like the Danes) :D

I drank, I saw, I came?

Yup, definitely one that only works in English.

Incidentally, "risi" actually means "to laugh at, to mock, to ridicule, etc)

So it is a literal translation of my former motto:

I came, I saw, I mocked

Anyway, what were we on about?

Oh yeah, sorry Henriette, it's just our own way of saying hello!

I promise, mate, it also works in Italian :grntngue:

Henriette, don't worry, despite the location I am Italian  The mockery is just because of the football ;)

If you give us a chance you'll enjoy our company  We just love teasing each other, that's all :bounce: :bounce: Take all your sense of humour and stick to us

Alex...nice? Have we ever been less than a lovely bunch?

You shouldn't mock Danish people. They have a lovely language, and tend to "run into" a lot of people when skiing in Norway :D .

But to be serious, Denmark is a wonderful place. Jomfru Ane's gate is my favorite place ever :D.

As for your problem sugar, here's a trainer, and some codes:
http://www.xcheater.com/show.php?cat=pc&gid=2855
http://911codes.com/games/platform/win/sect/div/cont/list_cheat/spray/y/id/0000001620/gid/0000001620/_cheats/_walkthroughs/_codes/_pc/_n64/_psx/_gameboy/_playstation/

Sadly, I couldn't find a walkthrough. As for the rest of you, nice to meet you. I tried posting a bit in the "General On-line Game Discussion" forum. Not much use it seems :)

tenebra_uk
14-06-2002, 21:24
Hi Olly! A bit of mockery has never hurt anybody ;) I can assure you it's just done to have a bit of fun, that's all :) Forget about the On-line Game Discussion, this is the place to be  (sorry, Kudos  ) Welcome to the forum! :)

olly
15-06-2002, 03:02
Thank you tenebra. And I can assure you, the first two lines of my previous post is mockery. But a Danish person will understand it immediately, while people from outside Scandinavia will not necessarily understand it. You have to experience Danish people skiing, to really know what I mean :D

Anyway, I'll forget about that other forum, and post my question here.

The little fly makes its way through hell, and eventually finds a sleeping Diablo. The ignorant creature is sleeping like a baby. Silently the fly lands in his ear. And then it BITES! Diablo wakes screaming  , and very confused  . The little fly goes deeper into Diablo's head. And then it starts kicking  . The noise is driving Diablo nuts :bigeye: . And he can't get his thick fingers into his ear. Eventually, Diablo kneels, crying like a baby  . David defeated Goliath yet again! :D ;) :p

It shows a group of American tourists being shown round what is presumably a European city. They come across a wall with "Yankee Imperialist Warmongers Go Home" scrawled on it, and their tour guide feels compelled to apologise for the insult.

The tourists are surprisingly tolerant however: "You needn't apologize!"... "We're not offended!"... "It doesn't concern us in the least!"

Then one of them explains: "You see, we-all are from the SOUTH, suh!"

Checking my facts I see I wasn't completely honest with you.

In fact if you use Google.com and enter the search string:

"Tintin au Tibet" walkthrough

...then you get the site "anal-lovers.org" :eekblue: , which has a huge list of names of computer games on its home page.

But I must confess that it isn't until you click on any of the links (for example "amateur sexe lesbienne", or "sodomniser, fellation") that the Diablo Teen site erm... comes up...

All I wanted to do was to check to see if any of these sites had a Tintin walkthrough!

As a matter of fact, I did find a French walkthrough for the game (as others have found, there is no English walkthrough, only cheat codes).

Alas... It seems more confusing than even 'Belgium drawf porn' with or without the goats...

Act 1 - The Train.
To avoid the obstacles that are located alongside the train: packages that fall, children that run, you can put yourself forward plan while leaning on the arrow of the top.

To pass the smoke that sort of the train, you must take the first package, then to put it meadows of the smoke. It is necessary next to jump on the package then by over smoked it.

To take packages Tintin must lower itself to proximity, it is necessary to lean on the bottom arrow to lower itself. To put the package it is necessary again to lower itself to l’aide of the bottom arrow.

To take the bonus on the train, Tintin must take the package, at the level of the locomotive and to put it underneath the trunk. Tintin next can jump on the package, then to jump on the trunk. A time on the trunk Tintin must run and jump on the locomotive where is located the bonus.

To pass the rails broken: Tintin must throw the package on the rails. To throw the package, it is necessary to lean on the key of the race, c’is-to-to say by default. A time the thrown package Tintin must jump on the package and jump on the right. It lands on a board and has right away ressauter on the right before the board does not break.

In l’eau:
A time in l’eau, Tintin must avoid the obstacles while swiming successively towards the left one and the right to l’aide of the high and low arrows, while braking or accelerating to l’aide of the left and upright arrows. Don't you just love translation progs..?

That's why I'll always have a job  No, I don't think so – Understudy's translation seemed perfectly clear to me... :rollani:

I once tried an online demo of an expensive (£100-£200) German - English translator from Langenscheidt, to help me with emails from my German cousin. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect (I know how complex translation is), but it was terrible – I was better off with my school-level German and a dictionary... yet this was something they were aiming at commercial users! I couldn't understand how they had the nerve to market it.

My degree is in foreign languages and literature - which basically means I'm a boring linguist who's spent 4 years studying anything weird from old German to neurolinguistic :bigeye: As my aspiration was to become a fiction or theatre translator, I spent quite an amount of time following seminars on the translators' future considering the technological development :rollani: Result: sorry, software has no future  :bounce: :bounce:
