Korean uses a variation of japanese alphabet, but in fact i do not know if it is an adaption from kanji, hiragana or katakana, but thought that referring it as kanji would be understable by most people... :rollani:

No point in finding a good tutor if you can't then practise for a few years...my Japanese used to be much better than my French (which I speak with an English accent :bigeye: ); now I can only ask what time is it :cry:

Let's see.....
Japanese was formed based on Chinese.Back in the Qin Dyansty,there was this Emperor,Qin Shi Huang,who wanted to live forever.He sent people all over the place to find the magical "Elixir",which,of course,didn't exist.
One group was sent to Japan,but they too couldn't find the "Elixir".They were too scared to return to China because they'd be executed,so they remained on the island and developed the Japanese language to escape from the Emperor should they be found.That's just one of many theories though.
As for Korean,it used to be in an area called Manchuira,so I think the characters could have been based off the Manchu language.

I like Japanese culture very much...most interesting of all ! I try visit Japan in future...The building structure is awsome...very nice and wonderful !
Especially the people are very nice and friendly...in cotrast to all other nations on earth...no other nation welcomes foreigners that friendly like Japanese people...
I also have the abilty to study my subject from university there in Japan...and I am really interested to study it there in 2 years...perhaps it works...it would be great !
At the moment I am looking for a Kendo Club in my area...I want to start making Kendo...that´s great ! :tup:
