View Full Version : Cow Tipping.
Have you ever heard of cow tipping?
What exactly ARE you doing to your faction's CoW members when they're asleep??? :eekblue:
(Are you still touring farm-country with your job?)

If you do`nt know the cows cant get up...
so the poor farmer has get help to the cow stand.. :dark:
its completely evil and great fun for the tiper..
but reallly bad for the cow as they can die....
Cow tipping is fun :)
You get rat-faced drunk and drive into the bush (Outback) looking for cattle. Jump out of the car and creep towards them trying to make as little noise as possible. This is impossible when your rat-faced drunk though. Often you get your scrotum caught on barbed wire then while trying to detach yourself you fall over into cow dung. All your friends laugh themselves stupid then you give up and crawl back to the car. (bad memories)
You need about 3 people tip the cow when you find one, they have an good sense of balance even when asleep and will sometimes readjust themselves.
The more beer you have the more fun it is but always have a sober driver please (he can hold the video camera too!!!)
Hey...I donīt know if I got it right...do you all mean that "game" that you push sleeping cows at night while they stand ? they just fall on their side like they were totally stiff...

...I'd been going to make some ***** like 'Is it the bovine equivalent of fly-tipping?' or 'Do you mean where you pay a service charge to cows that serve in restaurants?' but I STILL didn't see what you meant... :confblue:
...it's old age...
As a matter of fact it can be quite unnerving coming across cows unexpectedly if you're wandering across a field on a moonless or overcast night. If you've got a torch you suddenly see pairs of glowing red eyes staring back at you (which you see long before you can make out anything else). Since you know there shouldn't be any other (living) person for miles around, this can have an unpleasant effect on a chap with a weak heart (or bladder).
It can be bad enough even without this. I was once walking along a country lane in the dark when I became aware of a tall, dark shape silhouetted just behind a hedge that overlooked the lane. "Imagination playing me up!" I thought, knowing that there was unlikely to be anyone around, and continued to walk on. Then, just as I drew level with it, it moved. Christ, I nearly jumped out of my skin!
Cows can have a similar effect when they suddenly snuffle or snort unexpectedly, which just goes to show that they have a warped sense of humour too.
The best was when I went with a couple of mates one night to a derelict house up on the moors a few miles from where I live (Errwood Hall, for anyone who knows it). It used to be the residence of a wealthy local family and there is a graveyard up on the hill behind, complete with a family vault. To reach it from the house you had to walk up an 'alley' of yew trees which made it even darker than it already was.
As it happened one of my mates was walking on just ahead, so I was able to see when a ghastly white shape suddenly emerged out of the ground at his feet, making him actually scream out loud. Then the sheep (for such it was) pounded off into the night...

Well...I did a lot of night walkings too when I was drunk.... :bigeye: :p

I too also started to wonder if this was about "tipping/service charge" when I started to read this thread.
It's not very nice to the cows tho...and I really don't think we need to cover the topic of barbed wire and drunk people ;-)

Yeah - a cow must weigh half a ton - they must damage their innards when they land so heavily. Not at all fair to the poor sleeping creature. Of course , Darwinism would point out that any creature you could hunt with a hammer is too stupid to exist, and deserves evrything it gets..

cow tipping is unnecessary. The 15% gratuity is included in the bill. Waka waka waka!
-------------------------------
There were some cows adjacent to a house i was staying in for four months in Austria. i don't know what kind they were, but they had the particular knack of waking me up every 5:00AM. They didn't sound like normal cows. They sounded like a herd of angry wookies.

I am sure this is not the case, but you should talk to them and see what the problem is...it may be that you are reading too much into something...?
