Sega looking to take over Infogrames?

Digitiser's news today said Sega was interested in a takeover of Infogrames as they currently dont publish there own titles in Europe and are looking to expand.

Anyone here anything about it?

I read something about it a couple of days ago, but some fianancial analists said it was not probable due to the terrible cost of the operation for SEGA
