Networks A4 requires 2048 KB of extended memory [EMS].

Here is a quote from the manual:

QUOTE:

A IV NETWORK$ requires 2048 KB of extended memory [EMS]. To know how much EMS is available on your computer, type in "MEM" at the DOS C:\> prompt for any computer with DOS version 4.0 or higher, and look for the line "Total paged memory [EMS]". The number shown must be greater than 2048 [Note: 1 KB is equvivalent to 1024 bytes] or type in "CHKDSK" for all versions of DOS earlier than 4, and look for the line "Total paged memory [EMS]". The number shown must be greater than 2048 [Note: 1 KB is equvivalent to 1024 bytes]. In case you need more EMS memory, you must remove some resident programs and drivers that are loaded through the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files and placed in upper memory.

If you use DOS version 5.0 or higher, check that the line DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE 2048 RAM exists in your CONFIG.SYS file [2048 is the number of KB of EMS required]. Check again the EMS memory size that has actually been allocated [type "MEM" or "CHKDSK" according to the DOS version on your machine].

Hope this helps and you get the game going.
