Will RCT 2 be able to play on NT File system?

Just a question to ask....when RCT 2 comes out....what requirements are needed for it? Because my sisters son birthday is near then and i was thinking of getting him it....and he has a Windows XP Home, 256 RAM, 35 GB Hard Drive, but the file system for the C: is NTFS , which is NT File System (obviously). And he had RCT UK (first one out) on his old computer, but when he got the Win XP Home with NTFS File system it didnt allow him to play it.

So will RCT 2 work on that machine? Because i dont want to spend my money and find out he cant even play it.
