Premier Manager 2002

Does anyone know if this game is still being released on the Playstation 2?

You'd think infogrames themselves would have been able to at least give a clue to the release date - i've had it preordered for about 3 months and the release date has slipped back 4 times, now there's not even a page on the infogrames site relating to the game.

Is it even coming out anymore? I'm cancelling my order in the next day or two unless I hear something about it. It's not like there's not a whole host of other great management games available (Total Club Manager on PC, Championship Manager 2003 on it's way) , i can't help but feel as though infogrames could care less about its customers given the fact that they've removed the link to the game from their upcoming PS2 list on the website.

Quite dissapointing really.

I have been waiting for this game to be released for about 8 months now and im really frustrated at the lack of information on the release date.They keep changing it, ive called up infogrames a number of times the last time was about 2 months ago when i was told that the game has been cancelled.

i then emailed infogrames and told them how dissapointed i was with the game been cancelled and they replierd back to me saying that the game hasnt been cancelled just delayed till the 4th quarter.

i have recently emailed gamestation-a teletex game question and asnwer page.i was told that the game has a final release date of 15 th November.To confirm this i emailed infogrames back again and they told me they dont have a release date as the game is still being developed and they cant help me with anymore info.

i have found this whole issue a nightmare.they dont treat their customers right, were all left wondering what the hell is going on and they havent even got a clue themselves.

Where i live i emailed gamestation and they sayed it has come out last friday the 8TH but when i went it some games shops like Hmv Dixons.etc i can even find it

Its the 15th and the game is STILL not out yet.what the hell is going on with these people?Its been an unbelievable nightmare trying to find out any kind of information regarding the games release date.Why cant infogrames just tell us roughly when the game is out if there not sure themselves.i want this game so bad but its getting to the point when i dont think its ever going to be released.

:confused: has anybody got any cheats/tips for premier manager if so plz tell me them.premier manager is a cool game it has loads of features ... :D eg 1 on 1 conversations news desk. talk t the players managers to ask if they would like to come or not. the worst thing about the game is tht it doesnt have a feature like other management games where u can chose quick match or full game u just have to pley the full game. atleast u can speed up play o 4x 8x or 16x or theres normal where a mins goes every 7 secs or somthin like that

I think its a great game with plenty to do and so many features.its much much better than lma manager by far cos that was sooo basic but premier manager definatly has what it takes to be the best.

There is just a few things im not happy about tho such as it does not have a division 3 which is a massive let down.

Also the actual match engine is poor bacause you cant make out who is doing what or what is happening so i just put it on match stats.

Another thing is that ive found the game very easy, with spurs i have won the champions league and the premier league in 1 season which was my second season.My third season i won the f.a cup and the premier league again.It should be harder cos no matter how good a manager is spurs would never ever win the champions league or the premier league in just their second season of managing them.

Lastly i dont think it makes any difference how you speak to your staff towards improving their performance because they always seem to do what there told no matter how you speak to them,i have been very polite at time and also very rude but it dont make a difference.

I would also like to see more script for example when you speak to a player agent and the player doesnt want to come to you theres no way of being able to convince him to come even tho the option is there cos the agent always says that the player is not interested no matter what.There are otherminor niggles but all in all the game is brilliant i think with so many different options and things to do, it would of been nice if the eurosport news was an interactive channel tho but never mind.

What do you guys think?whats the best and the worst parts of the game for you lot?

Hey Champ Manager :D i dont think that the game is easy although ive won the spanish title with la coruna. and just wanted to know do u know any cheats or tips such as best formations or anything plz reply to this message champ or anyone else if u specially know any tips..... :devil: i think that this game is ace... :tup:

i use a 442 formation, with a patient passing style and attacking strategy at home but defencive away.i ant got no cheats yet but if i get some ill let you know

I got my version of premier manager on gameplay i ordered it and it was delivered to my door on the day of release. It is an excellent game.... :tup:
