Hi all,
I was searching for some info about when Infogrames will release PAL versions of the new Sega Sports titles, when I found a post in the Off-Topics section of the board claiming that PAL versions of games such as NBA 2K3 will not be released. I hope that's not true: I checked out the Sega Europe website recently and there was some news about NBA 2K3 coming out in 2003. I'm trying to contact the PR people at Infogrames but they're on holiday.
What people need to do is to send Sega Europe and the PR at Infogrames emails to let them know that Europe and the rest of the PAL-suffering world DO play, enjoy, and watch basketball [look at the number of Europeans coming into the league], and would go out and buy their NBA titles, especially when they get such rave reviews in America. (NBA 2K3 apparently blows the EA Live titles out of the water, and yet EA distribute PAL versions of their US sports games?
I think (or at least I hope) that Infogrames are going to release NBA 2k3 once the online facilities of the playstation and x-box are set up in Europe: all I hope is that Infrogames and Sega Europe realise that (and other Sega Sports fans wil have to make them realise this) it's a matter of 'the sooner the better'.
