Enter the Matrix: can anyone help?

I am seriously stuck, pretty close to the beginning - I probably just haven't got the hang of it yet (and yeah, I'm a girl, can you tell?!!). Basically, I'm at the bit in the first part, after "Got It!" when Niobe's trying to get to the Manager's office and so to the exit. I can't seem to get her from the platform where the part starts to the office, although I've been trying all afternoon. I've got a PS2. Can anyone help me? Please?!

The characters won't walk on enter the matrix for PS2. THe analogue stick is working for all other games.... do i need 2 take it back or will I be using it wrong somehow??????
