I am having the following problem.
I have installed the game without any problems.

Processor: AMD Duron(tm) Processor, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.2GHz
Memory: 384MB RAM
Page File: 202MB used, 745MB available

Card name: ASUS AGP-V6600 SGRAM v43.45
Manufacturer: ASUSTek
Chip type: GeForce 256

Installed on Drive: D:
Free Space: 12.9 GB
Total Space: 19.6 GB
File System: NTFS
Model: MAXTOR 6L020J1

CD-ROM Drive: Q:
Model: HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8240B

But still my machine freezes up every time it starts loading Postoffice Closing time.
Up till that point I have no problems whatsoever.

Anyone can tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Cheers,
maurice

Maybe cause it's closing time,so the machine refuses to load.Try renaming it opening time.

Well,we can't really provide much information on this. The Americans have more information on how to fix this problem,so I suggest you visit the American Atari forums.

I know there are train simulations, but I had no idea you could pretend to run your own Postoffice!!!

Is that a game or something? I just tried a Google search for "Postoffice Closing time" and got nothing remotely like software.

Try again, and give us more to go on..

It might have been smart of me to mention this concerns the game Enter The Matrix, oeps

I know I know...maybe I shouldn't pretend I am still young at 35 years of age and go play games my age...like Bridge or Domino's
instead of the hazzle of these devilish new techniques.
Anyways thanks for the link!!!!!

You hear that Warspite? You should be down the pub playing Dominos. I'm sure Tenebra would give you a game.

I am going to find you and squish you.

And then I will make you play cribbage:mad:

Found one solution that works but is not ideal...
play in safe mode, however you won't hear running or gun shot sounds, you do hear voice over and such.

Haven't got the game - but go check out the link I supplied; lots of US users have come up with workrounds for poor sound and octagonal graphics etc.

GO!!

NOW!!!

Been there, seen it, done it...and they told me the t-shirt is in the mail. Checked out the link and came up with the solution of Safe Mode. Not ideal but its a first step, from here i shall figure out the rest, or my name is not Napoleon.

So many thanks indeed Warspite!!!

Another thing...don't tell me there are others out there that have past the big 3 0 as well? Cause that would mean I can loose the 12 year olds that keep bugging me over here in the Dutch country.

There are a few of us hanging around here in the Off Topic section.
There don't seem to be any admins, so the grown ups like me, Minos and Tenebra have to look after the revoltin youths like 2potscreama;)

And I, in turn, have the enviable job of abusing people we dont like until they leave.

Of course, when he says "grown ups", what he actually means is "old people".

It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it - god bless you 2pots, god bless...

Well think about it. If I wasnt here you'd all still have to listen to the inane ramblings of Blade "Libel" Walker. Among others.

But he had such interesting English. And no sense of humour - a fatal, yet entertaining, combination:D

I'm finished for the day - see ya tomorrow, if I can be bothered to turn up for work that is:D
