:confused: Hi there, can anyone help please.
I have recently installed a wireless router and a home LAN onto the PC/Broadband service (in UK on BT).
I have a problem in NWN multiplayer - if I go into the default connection type (Arena) the game functions perfectly normally. However if I switch to "Action", the game hangs because either the ADSL modem or the router crashes. For some reason this then takes much fiddling to reawaken the internet connection.
I am using a Dlink DSL 300G+ ADSL ethernet modem and a Dlink DI624 wireless router. I have tried inputting various port parametrs into the built in firewallbut to no avail.
However if I take the router out of the configuration and use the modem direct - the problem doesn't occur.
Does anyone recognise this probalm and more imporatntly - how to solve it!!?
