Horizons release!!!!!!!

I appreciate I may be urinating in the wind here but...

Would somebody from Atari UK care to comment on the complete balls up they have made with the Horizons release. The official release date for the game is today for THE WHOLE OF EUROPE, why have Atari decided to only allow retailers in selected European countries to purchase the game today whilst delaying the release for everybody else until 8-12 Dec.

I have been wondering about the actual release date as well, i pre ordered my copy of horizons about a week ago and im still waiting for it I dont mind waiting for a game but it would be nice if someone would be nice enough to tell all the people that pre-ordered the game when it would actually be released.

I am still waiting here in UK for a copy of Horizons, my preordered copy with play.com is showing awaiting for stock. I have tried all the shops in Bristol and none have received any copies. The best unofficial date I can get is Friday 12th maybe!

I read on the forums that Germany and a selected few other EU countries received the game and in the USA the pre-ordered copies are ready for posting. Can anyone please give an official comment on what went wrong?

Is there going to be a RP server in EU? When is the next server for EU due to go online ( FIRE? )

Are the EU players going to get access to the test server BLIGHT?

We need some official comments soon, whole guilds are starting to get fed up and talking of not buying the game due to your inaction

It's a complete nightmare, a paltry 3 servers to choose from, no language split either so lots of different languages getting spoken. 2 or 3 reboots a day, hours of trying to log back on after a reboot -the log on process is web based -hell as a euro when you fire up the game you get sent to the US homepage -whereby you are told you don't have an account! no ability to view player equipment or characters implemented yet, haha not even a section from Atari to deal with it!

My advice? Buy this game in 3 months time once they have fixed everything (swimming doesn't even work yet) and enjoy :)

I have to agree to the post above because i bought the game today in sweden and been trying to create an account and login for last 4 hours : ( .
Its redirection from US loginpages to Eu loginpages that dosent exist and i keep getting a messega about wrong cd key (retyped it 10 times now).

So if you going to buy this game wait at least a few weeks or be prepared for trouble.
