Well ive been reading some of these posts and your all b*tchin about the game. Personally, online im thinkin it could be a sweet game! literally, all we need is NO lag fix or maybe a big dedicated fast server. People dont moonwalk, bots take control of MG turrets, people have dust effects from their feet when walking and other things people might not have noticed. The vehicle suspension is pretty good, this game reminds me of mobile forces, infact did atari make mobile forces cus T3 is just like it? You need to be more positive people and maybe atari will patch it for us? Surely they have moderators visiting the forums they cant have it and not even use it. Probably not replying because its like jumping into the lions den. Peace...

Dude, I'm afraid us moderators are just ordinary civilians like you - we have no more say over what Atari does with its game support than you do.

I have T3 WOTM too - its nice to see someone with a bit of enthusiasm prepared to give the game a chance;people these days seem to be a bit trigger happy when it comes to complaining. Mind you - they have paid out hard earned cash - damn, I've gone all reasonable and indecisive..damn, damn, damn:madred:

As one of the original people who "bitched" (:D) about the game when it first came out, I thought it was best to reply.

Firstly, I agree with you. It has the potential to be a great game, that's why I bought it in the first place, I saw it to rival the place of Return to Castle Wolfenstien and Enemy Territory in the online team-based FPS community. But even you stated there is a lot wrong with the game. Now, I did take the game back, but that's only because as Warspite mentioned, I paid my hard earned cash for the game, and it wasn't by any means at a standard I'd call finished, and when people complained about it, Atari said nothing. As far as I know, they are stil remaining quiet, and because they didn't say anything, I thought it best to return the game and buy a game I'd get more enjoyment out of. Hell, the Austrailian gamers didn't even get a CD-key with their copy, it was that much of a shambles when then released the game!

At the end of the day, I feel it shouldn't have been released the way it was. If a patch this big is needed for it to be on par with the other team based FPS's out there, then it just simply wasn't ready. Who knows, I may buy it again in the near future when I know the game has been patched. But until then, I'm gonna wait it out for UT2k4.

On a positive note though, Cleavers (the devs of T3:WotM) have been in contact with a community of T3 fans, and have said that if people give them an idea of what to fix, they'll do so and bring out a patch, so perhaps not all is lost Just a shame Atari didn't comment.

Anyway, I've rambled on for long enough now. Laters.

Mal,

that post was dangerously close to being informative, reasonable and helpful. In fact, it looks like it was written by a grown up:eekblue:
Just try a bit harder to moan and abuse other users next time
You're right about T3 for PC though - it is laughably unfinished:lolblue: :lolblue:
