Disabling autosaving in V-Rally 3 for pc?

is there someway to disable the autosaving in vrally 3, pc version?. someone said it is possible on the other platforms. the game is hard to handle anyway and without the stupid autosave, u could use only the saves that u do with the save command. well?

To be honest, I've given up on this game, mainly because of terrible force feedback and steering handling. Sorry, I'm not answering your question here but I doubt you will get much response from anyone especially Atari. Have you noticed that anything relating to V-Rally 3 has to be submitted in the Off-Topic section? I think that says it all!

I wasted my money on V-Rally 2 for the PC and I've done it again with V-Rally 3. Did they ever even look at CMR2? I very much doubt it, shame really, they would have learnt a lot.

None of my e-mails to their tech support were ever answered. Not a single patch neither, pathetic!
