So, that would be in Ireland then.

Hands up, who on this board is from Ireland?

*deathly silence, plus tumbleweeds*

Thought so.

Understudy
08-03-2004, 22:32
No, there was one guy, once. Hasn't been around for a year or two.... He'll be up for it I'm sure...

madpierre
09-03-2004, 12:43
...and Spike was from just over the border in Co Monaghan. Not that he was here for long...

Understudy

2potscreama
09-03-2004, 14:21

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 14:31
Yes, he was. Or is, he's probably still alive :confusedb

Understudy
09-03-2004, 15:31
To be sure, to be sure..... :biggringr

Warspite
09-03-2004, 15:36
The Kudester WAS Irish. I remember he even posted his grid reference in his sig. didn't he? He was in Dublin I'm sure.

So when are Atari going to sponsor a LAN near my house? Preferrably close to my local pub and fish and chip shop? And opreferrably free for me and my buddies? When Atari, when for crying out loud??!!!:weirdblue

Understudy
09-03-2004, 15:46

I thought YOU were organising it??????

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 15:48
Have you asked? :weirdblue Told you, give me some info and I'll put together a proposal to submit

Warspite
09-03-2004, 15:50
What do you think will be the most important info as far as Atari are concerned? The location of my local pub or the chip shop?

OK, if you want one, I will need to find and price a venue, and then beg the Admin to scrounge up some cash - is that right?

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 16:01
Maybe asking nicely would be enough :tonguegre

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 16:22
Can we have an argument now? :biggringr

Warspite
09-03-2004, 16:31
I'm sorry, but I don't think you had an argument booked for this afternoon - I already have a 3.30 appointment, and it isn't with you. Sorry.

NEXT!!!

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 16:34
How about spontaneity? :tonguegre

Let's fight and be merry! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Warspite

Understudy

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 16:52
I'd never even dream of "blamming" anybody :weirdblue

Understudy
09-03-2004, 16:55
Don't worry, it was only Warspite... and besides, his gun went off before either of you were really ready :confusedb

Terrible when that happens... its the anticipation I guess..:biggringr

Warspite
09-03-2004, 17:02
And the age...Its never happened before though - I just don't understand it..maybe if we wait a few minutes and try again? :o:

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 17:17
Bah...I think I'm getting a headache :rolleyesa

Warspite
09-03-2004, 17:26
I think we were married in a previous life:rolleyesa Its all so eerily familiar:rolleyes:

So what do you want Minos..ME to find out about a LAN thing? I just want to shoot people - what more do they need to know?

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 17:34
Oh, that would explain the cold sweat I get every time the word "marriage" is mentioned :eekblue: :tonguegre

Shooting? Can't we have whips or swords or dunno, just biting people? :confusedb

*hmmm, biting people...that'd be fun! :bounce: :bounce:

Understudy
09-03-2004, 17:45
:eekblue:

and run like feck outta the door before she gets ya. :biggringr

Warspite
09-03-2004, 17:54
Don't turn your back on her , and try to make yourself look big:eekblue:

Tenny, have you ever played as the Alien in Aliens vs Predator? It would be SO you...:biggringr

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 17:55
Why? What's the matter with you?? :eekblue: Wouldn't you fancy a good biting expedition? :confusedb Bite, bite! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Warspite
09-03-2004, 18:00
How about "Gnash Gnash" and "chomp chomp"?:D
Although I think any expedition would get further with a boat or a land rover instead of a set of gnashers.. Mind you, its not been done before - fairplay to you...:lightbulb

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 18:05
Exactly! I'm tired of the usual weapons - I want to bite and be mean :biggringr I want a game where I can tickle my enemy to make him drop his weapons and then bite him :biggringr

There's nothing strange with that, is there? :confusedb

Understudy
09-03-2004, 18:31
I think you'll find I have.... :p:

Its just pain, blood and dismemberment that I have a problem with. :lightbulb

tenebra_uk
09-03-2004, 18:34
So shooting is fine, but biting would be too bloody? :lightbulb

Understudy
09-03-2004, 18:49
Yeah, ok I get your point.... fair enough..

But you seem a little over obsessed.... maybe a nice cup of tea, and a sit down would do you some good. :biggringr

There's nothing strange with that, is there? :confusedb The tickling factor is not unprecedented in folk-belief, as illustrated in the example of the Russian rusalki:

Rusalka
Female water Spirit. These souls of unbabtized babies or drowned maidens became beautiful pale girls with long flowing hair. They wear white or are sometimes naked, usually with poppies in their hair. They lived in the waters during the winter, but moved to the forests and fields during Rusal’naia week (hence the name) where they could often be seen perched in trees.
A danger to humans, the Rusalki may lead cattle astray, steal children, fall upon people from the treetops and tickle them to death or kidnap young lads to take as lovers. They love to come out in the moonlight to sing and dance the khorovod (circle dance). If they find someone bathing near where they dance, often, they will drown them. Tying ribbons to trees in which they were known to perch is one way to appease them. Linens and scarves, as well as eggs were also left as offerings.Tickling to death with the option of drowning. Any good?

09-03-2004, 22:21

No. Mother used to say (still remember as if it were yesterday) that she'd found me in the rubbish bin :biggringr Then she says I spent too much time reading books and being silly, but that's not strange, is it :tonguegre
Always was a very well behaved baby, child, teenager (almost  ) and adult. Just a little bit random :biggringr

Arrghh....

You're gonna be one of those parents, who's kids run screaming arround the supermarket, while they say:

'Now Tristin, can you really justify your behaviour at the moment?'.

:lightbulb

Thats bollocks! Slap the little buggers till they're quiet and chain their ankles to the shopping trolley!

My kids will be on a lead, possibly with remote control implants in their temporal lobes:lightbulb I have no trouble exercising discipline within the confines of a recognised heirarchical structure, but not amongst ones peers. Tristan.:lightbulb

tenebra_uk

That's so unnecessary. I only need to look at my nieces straight in the eyes for a couple of seconds to shut them up. :biggringr

Warspite
17-03-2004, 11:07
I think I'll leave discipline to Mrs W then - she is VERY coldblooded, and has shattered concrete from 50 yards with a firm stare. Why do you think my superstructure is such a mess huh?
