I've just got back from a paintballing trip- and I urge every forum member to cancel whatever they're doing, go out and book a session now.

It's bleedin' brilliant- knackering (and a tad painful (thank you so called friends who blast 7 shots into your oblivious behind :madred: :p: ) but not painful to the point of off-putting) and quite expensive, but, as an experience, it can't be beaten.

Revenge in the form of a 40 foot shot at said friend- and a direct 300 feet per second hit is unbeatable.

yeah, i went paintballing about 2 weeks ago....

twas my 5th time, and i may still be rubbish, but at least i'm not afraid to run into fire, unlike some people....

It's a tad un-nerving when sprinting through a hail of paintballs though- diving behind cover, listening to 10+ shots pelting close by.

Still brilliant though.

Do you come home black and blue?

of course not, i'm too good for that....

though i did get impaled on a large stick when diving for cover, so i was a little red and bloody....

very cool and it isn't that expensive.....

it cost me £30 for a days paintballing, 400 paintballs and all you can eat (not really, but it was self service so it was all i could hold without looking conspicuous....:biggringr)

Paintballing is a way of fulfilling your army man style fantasies without getting killed. It is brilliant fun, if you conserve ammo it's not overly expensive- and it is a must try for any self-respecting action man wannabe.

exactly.....and when you want to vent some anger, you just run at a guy shooting him over and over....KNOWING that you are causing some pain....:lightbulb

No, don't!

Someone shot me in the face (visor, anyway) in the first game- I surrendered (as were the rules of that game) and, as I stood up, some git shot me again- and then 4 other people winged paintballs my way.
