These are my specs and PC informations:
Age: 2months
Manufacturer: Packard Bell NEC
OS: Window XP Home Edition - SP2*
Proccessor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.07GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 512MB
Page File: 1gb
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
Grapics: ATI RADEON 9200 SE AGP 128mb (With latest Driver)**
*I have uninstalled SP2 and had no difference it still crashed and restarted my computer so my conclusion is that SP2 is not the cause at all. Their is no Adware or Spyware or Viruses on my PC as I scan every day.
**I downloaded and installed the latest driver and this had no effect.
Thanks
I downloaded the Demo. After I installed it, It set up the best settings for my machine and let me chose an option of Tutorial or Demo. I choose demo and within 5 seconds my PC crashed rightout back to rebooting as if I had just switched off the PC at the mains.. This has happened twice now. My PC specs are :-
AMD Athlon XP3000+ Processor
Seagate 320gb 7200rpm Hard disk storage
Micron 1024MB PC2700 DDR RAM
ATI 256MB DDR Radeon 9200 with latest Direct X ( yes this card does exists )
KT400 Motherboard
Windows XP Home edition with Service pack 2 installed.
a clue to the issue could be this -
Azz

Same Problem here, Radeon 9000.
The bluescreen says: Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
First I played it for a while after deinstaling norton anti virus, but than there was the same problem.

Any one having problems with their graphics cards? My sh*ty Radeon 345m is having a hard time running it
These are from the USA boards and all use the Radeon cards.
So you managed to find the US forum and found lots of prople having the same sort of problems......well done.......
There is an issue with older ATI cards (as well as a problem with AMD processors) and Im sure a patch is being worked on as I type.....Other than that theres not much I can do....:weirdblue
This was a reply in the same forum...
Seriously, the cheapest and lowest end card you'll want to get is an ATI 9600 Pro.
That card is already 3 generations out of date, at least. It's also the minimum card to run things like DOOM3 and Half-Life 2 successfully. Buying anything more obsolete is actually wasting money, not saving it.
You didnt like the demo?.....sorry to hear it.........just dont use it as an excuse to spam here......
I just want to know why Atari are advertising something that isn't entirely true. The stated that RCT3 works best on ATI Cards. Humm the majority of the problems are on ATI cards.

It probably does work best on ATI cards. As in, the latest card with the latest drivers. Think of a phrase, involving the words "pinch" and "salt".
no if they say that the game works with all ATI card then that should be the case
