A Shadow Ops Thread

If I ask nicely can we have a Shadow Ops thread in the list above, with the rest of the Atari software.

The reason I ask is I cant find one anywhere. I have the PC version (64 bit) of the game and consider it the best game I have ever played, both sibgle and multiplayer.

Please give it the space it deserves and it's own forum thread, like the rest. I would like to hear about updates, fixes, screenshots, clans and squads across the globe ect,.

I've got it and am slowly playing through the single player.........it takes a bit of getting used to......:confusedb

I havnt tried it online (yet) and will probably finish the sp first......:biggringr


Its not the best game Ive played but its certainly not the worst. It does tend to look a bit 'console-ish' but it plays quite nicely so far. The jungle levels look nice too.

As for having a SORM thread........well you can use this one or post in off topic, which gets read a bit more........:tup:

Right I just want to get something going with a load of SORM PC users, so we can go on line and enjoy ourselves. Good servers, good players.

Do you know if a patch has come out, as when I try Shadow Ops Online, I see a few servers but they say incorrect version when I try to join.

I have looked all over the Atari site and no patches are listed, so dont know how it can be wrong version.

Hi Peeps..

I have had the game for a while now, finished the SP campaign mode, now using the multiplayer / internet (online) game, i have the problem as well where is states wrong server version... ive mailed atari, waiting for reply, when you do get on its very good....

If you go to the support page of the US atari site there is a patch availiable there that is universal

I am having real truoble with this game, no matter what i do when i install the game i cannot save my progress at all, if i try to leave the game, then i am told i will lose my progress but there is no save game option. if i do quit then there is no option to load a level next tiem i come back to the game. what is going on, surely i don't have to complete the game in one sitting.

hallo, dieß hier sind die neuen Masterserver IP adressen die du ändern musst.
Atari hat die Firma die den masterserver betreut gewechselt und somit hat sich auch die IP des Servers gewechselt.

Die änderungen sind in der rm.ini und default.ini in c:\programme\atari\shados ops red mercury\system zu machen.

Hi all!

I have been playing around but can't seem to find any online hosts for Multiplayer. Is this a known issue that needs a patch or does knowone play it. I hope it's a patch and I can play online soon.

If not.... WHY DON'T PEOPLE PLAY????? I have checked out some maps trying to host but no-one comes... sigh... looks like a great game.

Any help would be greatly appreciated (even if it is just to let me know there is nothing wrong on my end)

Heh heh heh, I spent some time looking around the forums and found a post telling me to change the master servers ip address.... I got online action now!

Laff, maybe I spoke too soon. Though I do see servers now, I can't seem to join one. doesn't give me errors... just won't let me join no matter what I click or what key I smack.

Any suggestions?
