Go to Start/Run and type "dxdiag". This creates a comprehensive list of components and drivers - something somewhere is not installed properly. You need Direct X 9.0c to play RCT3 - is your PC using this? Do you have up to date graphics drivers installed?

i did what you said war and on there it says the the directx that u say i nedd installed is installed. is there anything else that you can think that is the problem? i even did a test on the directx3d, and that is all working fine aswell.
I JUST FOUND THAT THE ERROR GETS SENT TO A FILE..I WENT TO THE FILE AND THIS IS WHAT IT SAID...
"*** FATAL ERROR *** : IDirect3D::CreateDevice failed."

Do you have onboard graphics?
When you run dxdiag it should tell you what graphics card you are using.
Under Display Devices it will tell you what you have got.
Or right click on your desktop, select properties, then settings, then advanced
in the box is a tab with your graphics card on it....
I have exactly the same problem as 11122478!

i tried a restart and that still didnt make it work for me
I Know This May Be A Long Shot But Do You Guys Have Microsoft SP2 On Because I Had It On And It Caused All Kinds Of Problems With Graphics And Other Stuff.
You Could Try IT Without?
If Not Try Upgrading Your Memory.
Hope This Helps

is there anyone that can tell me how to take the windows SP2 off my pc?? or is there no way to take it off once it is installed??
OK
This is for TomW and 11122478
Guys, I dont think your graphics chipset are supported in the game. In the minium requirements it states
Video: Any ATI Radeon™ or GeForce™ 2 with 32MB or higher; or other video card with 32MB and hardware T&L (ATI Radeon™ 64 MB SDR or GeForce™ 2 Pro or other video card with 64 MB or more memory and hardware T&L recommended)*
The important bit is hardware T&L.
The MOBILITY M6 is the mobility version of the Radeon 7200.
It's lacking a few features the desktop 7200 has, but in terms of performance, the mobility 7000 utilizes shared v-ram, whereas the M6 uses dedicated v-ram, so if you want a comparison, it's a desktop 7200, underclocked, with POSSIBLE (depends upon the Oem) powerplay support, and with no hardware t&l.
As for 11122478
Your SiS 651C is (to the best of my knowledge :lightbulb ) an intergrated graphics processor that cant do t+l either....:frownblue
Sorry if this isnt what you wanted to hear......:(

It is a graphics card, but its not ideal. Its not too good for the latest games, Im sorry to say. :frownblue
First of all make sure your motherboard has an AGP slot (Its a brown one above the white ones that your modem/sound card sits in, in case you didnt know)
Now Im not here to tell you to spend money on a fancy graphics card............BUT:lightbulb .....I think you need something with a bit more power.......like
THIS! (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=2865772947&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=74653)
Its all a question of budget ......:weirdblue
If you click on the link, read the reviews and see what you think.....
EDIT: I found this from the games creator David Braben
We believe all Nvidia cards from Geforce 2 onwards (including the Geforce 2MX), and all ATi Radeons from the 7200 onwards will play the game, with recent installed drivers.
