RCT3 - - Problems

Hi All,

Got my copy of RCT3 Today (5th)...Straight Away...Probs.

Same probs i had with demo actually.

Major Crashes (Sometimes on Startup) mostly when trying to perform a big action (like open all rides at once) game just crashes to desktop.

My Spec:

P4 2.66Ghz
Windows XP HE
1GB Ram
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
4.10 Cats.
50GB HD

Cant figure this one out...Demo kept crashing also.

Have gone through the Faqs and Have dropped everything...all reflections, Resolution, AA etc..

Same prob....Slow game and Crashes. Ran Spyware / Virus Scans...No problems...

Game just doesnt seem to want to last for me...

Oh well

Any help would be great...

There is a BETA patch in the works, at least in the US. I wouldnt recommend installing it in case it made things worse, but at least it means Frontier are trying to solve the problems.....:tup:

I too am having problems, so far only in the sound department but it's really annoying to play when all you hear is a mumbling crowd with no sound effects at all :( I created a post too

get the latest drivers for your card, i had te same problem with my radeon 9200, works fine now

I had to uninstall the demo of RCT 3 and everything has worked without a hitch since:biggringr

I thought the game worked best with an ATI? No probs here with my nvidea :P

Yep since the install of the new Ati drivers i have had no problems with the Ati Card! So Thats Made Things Even! lol :)
