Hi all, I got Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 two days ago- and it's superb. Having difficulty in getting on with 'normal' life....lol.
Anyway- top game so far, amazing gameplay and graphics...quirky, addictive and fun. Well done Atari!
There is one thing though...I cannot seem to build an observation dome. I must be overlooking something so simple... There's nothing on the manual or the tutorials about how to build the domes.
I can click the arrow to add height to the base, but I can't add entrances/exits.
It's one of those annoying things, that I know I am going to kick myself when I find out how to do it!

The game crashed for me also this morning- I am on Xp too. That seems to be a recurrent theme on here... maybe a patch might fix it. If it happens again- I'll do that thing that someone suggested with the compatability wizard.

I got this problem on the demo. Once you've finished building it, click the details window (I think this it what it's called - it's the one where you can choose to ride on the attraction - looks like a red bucket) and there will be icons to add entrances and exits.

yes it is the detail part...if you went through the tutorials then it tell you in then how to add them :tup: so yea it does sould like a bit of a stupid ting :rolleyes:

Thanks for that advice. It seemed to work...what was bamboozling me was that most rides automatically grey out a entry/ exit for you to click when you placed it or finished construction. But the domes don't. Anyway- thanks for that.
Although to the second chap who replied and left advice, don't you think you sounded a wee bit patronising..?!
I did do the tutorials! It was just that I got stuck on.
