I take it your system is up to date with drivers and stuff?
my system is well up to date as i just had to format my hd last night
so i spent most of the morning getting the drivers
funny thing is my system is bare jsut now besides windows and the drivers there isnt anything installed on it
oh yeah the critical updates are there as well and thats it
i disabled the shadows and removed the read-only tab from the Atari folder in program files and i was now to run it for 10 minutes instead of 2
Atari please help our poor souls
i also tried downloading an american version, then patching it and then using a No-Cd but still the exact same thing.
For those of you who are wondering if what i did is legal: yes i is as i already own a copy of the game
I know youre frustrated and Im sorry I cant fix your problem.......:frownblue (at the moment)
There is a Euro patch in the works which will hopefully be here soon.....:bounce:
no big deal i can wait i just personally think that the game should of been tested a bit more before being released i mean hundreds of people getting the same error isnt exactly something that would not come up in the testing stage. i know about software developming as im going to stars a university course in september so i can understand some things. I just believe strongly that everyone could of waited another month for those bugs to be fixed and the game not rushed out.
i have another concern why do we people in the uk have to wait for the 'official european patch'as we dont need any other language so we could just get the same patch as americans????
Theres all sorts of age issues with games/patches. Theres also a thing called 'localisation'..........to be honest I dont like it either...:madred:
