.... I think so.. i just installed the patch and even still people arent going on rides. no entry signs have to be placed the wrong way round so they work, changing the perspective of the view is pointless as it just changes back the second u let go and im sure i could go on with the errors in this game. come on atari sort it out you do testing beforeeeee its released not after.

this has got to be one of the biggest screw ups in gaming history.

I agree I found similar faults. Dunno about the view changing but no entry signs are immediately placed the wrong way round for some stupid reason but not always...

It's messed my sound and shading up on random occasions when before it was fine.

Refunding the game tomorrow, well done Atari, you sold out and provided us with a piece of rubbish just for your christmas marginal sales...

it is slightly disappointing with all the bugs, but all games have bugs, so get over it. If you dont like it dont play it, simple as that, play SimCoaster or some other crappy theme park game, dont bitch about.

Yes, THAT'S the issue. PC games are down to how good your machine is, what software you use etc etc.

BUT - RCT3 is not the average bugged game. RCT3 shouldn't actually be sold as a retail product because of it's massive incompatibility with hard and software along with its bugs.

YES games have bugs. Like when you crash off the road in a Rally and the shading goes funny or when you move somewhere the camera messes up.

But NOT actually being able to physically play the game... that's a joke! Factors in the game preventing people from playing is ridiculous. They're not just bugs, they're faults, and faulty products are RECALLED and customers reimbursed.

Did anyone else notice the lack of REGISTER YOUR GAME opportunities included in the box OR installation? Most games REQUIRE you to register for technical support or as a consumer base... RCT3 didn't... wonder why...?

I think that they should have done another years testing before they released.

TOOOOO many bugs.
I can't even play it.

I'm guessing that I'm lucky here.

I have the usual 3D bassed stuff like a few graphical errors, a few polygon errors etc but nothing that I've never seen before.

I find that the main problem is because this game is targeted at mid-spec machines, "high" end machines such as mine, which is a P4 2.8, 1Ghz RAM, Raedon 9600XT..... (In terms of RCT3, that's high end), just return negaive productivity, and thus it suffers from major slowdown as soon as i get 1000+ people in the park.

But other than that, I'm not overly dissapointed with it... as i sed, it's got the usual problems that 3D games of this nature face (I seem to recall Theme Park World, Sim Coaster and even No Limits Coaster)

I do think that RCT2 was the better of the 3, that seemed to open up doorways for new ideas, without losing the original feel and theme of the game.... RCT2 allows you to build a theme park, and keeps it real, where-as RCT3 is just a 3D gimmick

The latest Patch I think it's Patch 2 for the European game seems to have fixed a lot of the addressed issues. My system is an Athlon 3000+ with 1gb of RAM and a Radeon 9800XT graphics card. As far as running the game is concerned, I haven't had a single problem. However, the big issues for myself and most other people was that vistors to the park wouldn't visit shops even when hungry and thirsty, wouldn't actually ride more than one ride etc and this made the game, literally UNPLAYABLE as it was IMPOSSIBLE to earn cash and progress onto the next stages etc.

After installing the patch, most of the problems "I" encountered appear to have gone. I think I've noticed a change in frames per second (fps) for the worse... I dunno it mighta been a bit better before the patch...

Overall NOW I think the game is playable but I'm still thinking when I get further in the game I'll encounter something else because all programmers have done is correct errors customers mentioned.

The amount of hassle and quality of the released copy for retail really does make this game the cock up of the century in my opinion...
