Any way to make the go karts go whenever anyone gets in one. I have 8 on the track, set the right to Any Load, untick the wait boxes, yet the ride still waits till all 8 karts are filled before they start. This means that now, 2 people are sitting in the karts waiting forever for some more people to get into the other karts. In reality, the karts should be able to race off on their own as soon as someone gets in. But RCT3 seems to insist that all cars be racing at the same time.

I've worked it out. In the options of the ride on the left it says racing. Close the ride and change it to contiunous, something like that, open the ride and they do as I wanted.

New problem. Now they are getting on the karts then getting straight out without even having a go. When will the bugs end :mad:
complete stab in the dark here but is there an option for number of circuits? Maybe it is set zero?

Nope its not that.
The only way to fix it is to close the ride and reopen it. You can tell its a bug because they sit down, then get off, then jump and cheer as if they have had a ride around. Only good thing is, means the que for the Go Karts goes down quick while still making money from the peeps who think they are getting a go when really they aren't.
The note on the go-karts bothers me - I haven't had it yet (I cut the two tracks in the scenario one down to 1/3rd and they ran throughout) - but I like to use the circuit rather than race option sometimes.
But what you say isn't really new - I remeber similar with old games like the ghost train - or even log flume - if you had more cars than length of platform they could get trapped at the end if not popular ride.
- Daft Question but - Have you tried longer platforms with the exit at the rear?
i.e 3 or 4 platform pieces with only 12 carts (don't think you can have more than 12 anyway)
so peeps can get out?
One poss improvement (without heavy recoding) should be the ability to increase/decrease cars etc., on standard tyope rides like this without re-evaluating - i.e. a log flume of 3.5 is still 3.5 with 1 , 2 or 20 logs - unlike a coaster train where wheight ratio etc., can change the ride characteristics
That way, like real life, you could put out 4 go-karts when not popular, but if it suddenly re-gains popularity you could stick more on
Also would like to see ghost testing as per coasters - for rides like this, even when paused, as I have noticed this greatly reduces test time needed if you run it enough (and I run it tons of times - I like to tweak my coasters to near perfection before even a real test run) I don't consider it cheating - just good R&D

I think, if i remember right that the exits are at the back. This one allowed 8 cars so I'm assuming it could support 8 cars max. It was already pre made with one of the scenerios so it should really work without getting jammed up.
