I normally play with Mozilla...the major difference being you don't get any stats after shooting, and more annoyingly you can't use comms.

Since I rarely communicate it affects me little, but it is annoying to boot up IE when I wish to respond to a message. Firefox is not so bad though.

I use Mozilla and I refuse to use the blue E from M$ even though im using its OS but im relativly happy with it one of the things to remember EoCo was coded before mozzy and the likes were around. one of the BIG things I miss is the cut scene of things going boom that you get in IE......:madred:

I use both Mozilla and IE. Today I tried to capsule jump while powered down.

Mozilla, no joy.

Log on to IE and I'm on my way to the party.

I too get no comms, with the exception of taunts!

And also get no movies but I can live without those, they slow the game down.

Some of us here use Firefox and/or Opera, but then we don't use Windows so IE isn't an option.

Try now, comms should be working.

Just to let you fellow non-IE'ers out there, we are slowly improving support for Mozilla Firefox (and Opera) etc.

Current fixes include Reply/Reply All should now work (fix for FF) and Enemy Pilot names also highlighted in team colours (fix for Opera).

i'm using a macintosh base, and the only browser i've got that'll run EoC is IE for mac, don't get animations, which is ok, but comms is fun! i can select other pilots, but the squadren, all friendlies optoins etc don't work... and safari's got no hope at attempting the game... still i muddle through!

I have absolutely no problem using Mozilla with EoCo. Do you have the latest version with proper plugins?
