Its because if they have a tail and look at the full moon they turn into a giant gorilla or Oozaru as they are called.

Everything above Super Saiyan 3 is total ****, seeing as Akira Toriyama had nothing to do with DBGT, which explains why DBGT doesnt stick to anything said in DBZ.

There is japanese show b4 dragonball the was a show called monkey the main guy on the show has all the same stuf as kid goku in dragonball right down to the stick

Teen Gohan if u had seen the begining of DBZ u would have known this already hey i started whatching it around where ginyu died but i saw repeats tho they tell u everything anyway so i dunno how u couldnt know it already and if u whatch the Bardock movie they do all turn into apes and take over a planet. Thats how they got the technology like scouters, someone says that somewhere in the series, they were weak and stuff till a full moon came along. Which doesnt make sense becoz of the legendary ssj er legend lol.

Brolly wasnt born when they battled the other inhabitants of planet vegeta..

Saiyans are dumb to be honest, fighters not thinkers, they got there arsed kicked in the war until the moon came out then there was like 100 ouzarus all over the place.

Brolly doesnt even make an apparence till after the android saga so no 1 knows when he got the ability to go supoer saiyan, which would be an interesting fact, though in the film u see him as a teenager already consumed by his power...but he isnt super siayan there i dont think.
