Please I have done all game (90.7%) apart from La-La tycoon level ( and checkered flag, buts that's another thread).
I can't get the vip's to like the area's, or sometimes even visit them, even with way points. Have got all sorts of scenery themed drinks, balloons etc in right places but no joy.
Any one else done it yet ?

I'm having trouble with this level too. I just can't get the guy to visit my fireworks displays - he justs walks in and walks straight out. Its driving me mad!
ok. got clnton to visit fireworks, by putting loads of displays around the same area and setting them off at different times, 1pm 3.30pm 5.30pm 7.30pm, and set his waypionts to keep him on that path, with the odd visit to thrill rides( not heavy rides as his tolerance was lowish) near by. He will then notice one of the displays, good luck.
Please still lookin for help with last level on la la land !! anyone else done it or am I the only one to have got that far ( I don't believe that)

OK NEED SERIOUS HELP NOW !! VERY VERY FUSTRATED !! HENSE CAPITAL LETTERS TO SHOUT IT OUT !!!
Last level to go done ALL others, tycoon level, help required, can't get vip's to like there area.... got them to visit. All rides, scenery, stalls, benches lamps, bins, all match....... signs up to enter land, othere scenery at max around aswell. What am i doing wrong ???

Ive done this part and i just had a whole area dedicated to that theme. I had the rides that matched in that area only - i only had 2 sci-fi rides but i then packed out the area with all the scenary you could possibly imagine and the VIP liked it. Have you got the themed rides in the area aswell cos that could be it...
ok got certain themed rides but some obvious ones arn'e available like buffalo thingy's and lasso, mine drop etc,
Research on max on trill rides and scenery but still nothing....
Rides I have
adventure- dizzymouse coaster, pirate ship, observation tower, merry go round,
sci-fi - twister, phoenix thing, coaster, top spin.
Any one any more help please !!!:cry:

LaLa land is frustrating but possible - I had problems with the Baseball VIP entering the park and then leaving straight away however to complete the level try: -
- For the fireworks, set up a display and place it close to a path. When the display starts find your VIP and pick him up then drop him on the path close to your display - you should find that he then stands and watches your display.
- To satisfy the themes make sure that your themed area includes at least some of the rides that are defined to that theme i.e. Phoenix spinner ride for the adventure theme, do the same for the various shops. Add in lots of themed scenery, change the route of your VIP to go your themed area rides and make him stop and look at some of the scenery.
- For the space theme try changing the ground colour to a sand effect
- If your VIP keeps leaving the park without following the route that he is supposed to then pick him up and put him down in the middle of your themed area - he will still leave the park but should be impressed enough to satisfy him.
Let us know when you complete it Rachee - I have been reading your pleas for help and wished I could help! Unfortunately I keep getting sidetracked by the easy ride of sandbox so have only completed about 45% of career scenario!
I have now been on this one thing for hours and hours, and did I say hours....... How do I do a screen shot so I can show you all, even you will be impressed with my park.... I am . Just not the Baseball player, other one done, just advernture to go .....

I have ride events, trees ,the lot themed, I have watched him look up and his thoughts are 'chaw' and 'looks great' and other little comments but still he isn't impressed enough ............aaaaAAAAAHHHHHhhhh:cry:

which is about 15% more than me - unfortunatly I keep getting sidetracked by the fact my boss wants me to do some work :( :(
Also am only up to fright night in my re-run of scenarios post patch 1 (lot more fun now they work better - can see me doing similar with update 2 - just a shame that once a scenario is complete they don't unlock rest of research make more land available etc., - some of these maps I could really go to town on - if i wasn't restricted -

transfer save games to scenario editor- tweak and play to my heart's content :) :D
Hope la la is not still driving you nuts Rachee - if it is - take a look at the US forum - I think a few people have been having probs with this one.

If that's possibly the case - then it wouldn't do any harm - you can always use the same profile and just save games under a differeant title (i.e. lala_v2)
I find a new start can completly change how I approach a park design - even the scenarios I didn't go nuts on (i.e. goldrush) I did do 10x better 2nd time around.
Plus hopefully you remember what mistakes you did make - and not do them.
(i.e. all that pointless landscaping to get a loop in 'that' part of the park which only gave you a 0.1 increace in ride excitement anyway - like i did in fright night 1st time round - 2nd time I built a similar coaster in a diferent part of the park and got a 7.2 excitement with low-med nausea straight off. )
OK started again, and flew through upto tycoon level (again). Clinton likes sci-fi, but baseball player, still no joy..... I can't do ay more... only themed rides, paths pirates, stalls , you name it everything matches the right area...... What am I doing wrong !!! PLEASE SOMEONE H E L P !!!:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

yep, been on the american web site few times now, and again with your link, Thankyou ( at least I am not being ignored) just no-one got the answer, joe thinks my park is rubbish, loves the rides, but his park opinion remains low, any more really helpful advice that hasn't already been said, got themed areas fenced off aswell, right paths, themed rides, themed stalls, loads of pirates etc from scenery, rollercoaster ride attractions ( things that go off on the rides as you go round) , HELP! Sorry giving up and going to play ZT2 now, just spent another hour and half wasted, he was in my park for nine months and still didn't like it !!!!! Yeah yeah I know small things.... but there is some good humour in RCT 3 - some of the peeps do some pretty funny things - kids throwing tantrums - sulking - and I just love the way they all get disorientated when you re level paths while game is running or if you shake them when picking up and dropping :D :D
i found it wuite disturbing when in the thoughts panel of one peep it said "I want to make out".
its a 3+ game! maybe the ratings people missed that...
At 3 ....can kids read, and if they can.... who has told them what that means..... I think the world overreacts to such things....

We keep sidetracking because we can't suggest anything new :D especially as you say you have tried all the suggestions on the US forum too.
Except that update 2 should be out by end of week - and item 15.states: Made the VIP condition "wants to visit a themed area" easier to satisfy.

o00o Ive managed (after 7 park years lol) to satisfy Joe Sluggerballs. Ive attached a couple of screenies so they might help you.
Basically all I did was put mangrove bushes around everywhere and pirate scenary, pirate fencing as well and he was mega impressed. I did find the Pirate Ship ride helped, especially after I had surrounded it with trees and bushes.

Not sure - but things that stand out:
You are using generic queue paths (rather than adventure)
What music are you usinbg on the rides
I can see squares with nothing on them - fill them up with adventure scenery
Make sure you have no generic scenry in this section of the park (even bins/lights/stalls - i.e. use the filter when picking items)
All your scenery seems one square deep (unless it is a 2x2 item) - try to think more themeing wise
Maybe - Load upo a couple of their parks with adventure scenery (like the section in box-office) and check out how they have done it - i.e. how they planted the section with the ruins.
You could even semi-cheat and copy/save one or two of their buildings and put them in here. (i.e. the pirate tower - ok you will still have to finish it off, but a lot of the hard work would be done)
- Silly thought - but do you have too much green grass, compared to sand/water etc., ?
Not sure what patch 2 did regarding VIP's - if anything I am finding some (like Kari-Oki) harder to please :(

This is all I did for my La-La Land adventure-themed area and it was quite enough for Joe.
I did have to pick him up and manually drop him in the area to stop him leaving without even seeing it, but hey, it's the end result that counts, right? :)

Oh, and did I mention that I even got the award for ' Best Adventure Theme '. My problem was park opinion, as soon as I put in the trees to cover the remaining land and all around, he loved it... Thanks everyone for there help..... all the posts have either been useful or funny... Even given me more idea's for next time I start the career from scratch...

Rachee is right.
I was able to finish this scenario by planting lots and lots of TREES. I just concentrated in doing a sci-fi theme (+sci-fi trees) first, then the adventure theme (+adventure trees) next.
