1)On the menu buttons and text there are occaisions when they are very pixelated in a multi-coloured fashion. Any ideas? Anyone had similar issues? It is sometimes resolved if i switch resolutions but comes back again. I've tried some older and the latest drivers.

2)Also, does anyone know what kind of settings I should be using for my system? Duron 1600+, 768Mb, GeForce 5700LE 128Mb? I was thinking along the lines of: 800x600, 32bit colour, detail sliders set in the centre (50%), mountains and clouds ON, reflections and shadows OFF. I was kind of hoping to run in 1024x768 but after reading some threads im thinking it might kill the system once the parks become large?

Would agree the pixilation sounds more driver than game problem - but not being an Nvidia user I haven't seen it.
Make sure you get the full update #1 for RCT it did fix 'some' graphical problems.

As for stettings - again I would make sure you have update 1 as they included the option to set your default from lo-extreme from the settings options (rather than on first load) - I would try medium myself, and possibly try high on occiasion - your spec seems within the limits -

Recently I have started playing with the sliders on a fairly buillt up scenario park - keeping a certain view on screen and zooming in/out while changing some of the detail/draw distances (it is surprising how low some can go without you really noticing - expecialy on distance - i.e. do you really need to see peeps/detailed struts from nearly complete zoom out.
Even on v-high I noticed I could drop most back to nearly 1/4 (varying detail dependant on my personal importance scale - i.e. animals, fencing etc., draw distance almost bottom, detail quite low - rides/tracks higher, peeps detail about 3/4 but draw distance about halfway) without affecting my gameplay/enjoyment.
Also as I hit towards bigger parks - I am dropping some things as i add more - again on a preferance level - i.e for general play/building I don't 'need' shadows, but when I want to sit back and enjoy - I slap them all back on/ turn it up.

Hi everyone!
Like a lot of people i got RT3 for xmas, but with every imaginable problem, no water, crashes etc. after installing the latest patch and drivers & all that tosh there is still one very irritating problem, sometimes multi-coloured flashes will cover my screen and i can make it go away by zooming in or out a little, i was just wondering if anyone else was having the same glitch? i have tried fiddling with the detail, colour, graphics and resolution to no avail! the game is playable, but extremely irritating! otherwise, awesome game!! (by the way i have a Geforce card with the latest update, 66.93, no help!) there is also severe lag when placing a pre-built coaster, hopefully all speed issues can be solved in the next update!

Thanks, Kev
