Loss of Characters

When doing DU, at the end the story mode i unlock characters Gohan Kid Buu Android 18 and Trunks however when I restart the gamethey just dissapear along with the capsules even though I save the game in the options menu WHY?

u need to save at the end of DU when the save screen comes up

yeah but after you finish DU they take you to the screen where it says press start then you go to the screen where they show pan after that you have to select continue or obviously the characters will be gone

after DU it takes u back to the DU start screen, not the whole game start screen, NOT the one with Pan, if it does that 2 u King Vegeta it glitch in ur game....
