Haha. Anything can blow Generals out of the water. Playing with anymore than 4 players online is a massive lagfest. If Generals didn't lag, it might be good, but it lags like hell and there is no way to stop it. My comp is well over Generals, yet somehow ZH still finds a way to lag. As long as this does not lag, it will be better. Plus, hopefully I'll have my new Alienware Aurora by the release of this. O yeah, always remember for Generals: the Superweapon General is RIGGED!

I think this game has the potential of being better then Generals in more then one way. First off is the detail of the infantry secondly there will be limited resoucres so massing a huge army will become a task in itself forcing you to use what you have at your disposal not only to retrieve resoucres but to achieve victory. Jets and bombers are special selectable option strikes only with a time delay before they can be used again. This game is down sizing its wars or battles bring tactics and multiple objectives to the game. Elimitating massing large #'s to achieve the same goal of any RTS ( VICTORY ). There for no lagfest. I think soon RTS gamers like myself are goin to have game a bit closer to what we've been looking for.

The numbers was never the prob for Generals with lagging. They screwed up in their coding somewhere and accidently had the computer doing far more processing than it needed to at any given time. Act of War won't lag b/c Atari and Eugen don't want to have what happened to Generals happen to them. There will technically be infinite resources, it is basically a modded way of how DoW did the resources if you really think about it. Same general idea, to get you out early.

Man I hated that lag in Generals. This game looks much better. I hope the censoring isn't as bad as it was in CNC Generals. I mean I know most people don't like Hitler, but do you have to make it ****** everytime somebody says it.

Man man man... that kind of censory is not the worse thing...
Here in Switzerland / Germany they manipulated the voices and models of units. So every unit was a cyborg. The armies are different (USA = WA, China = AP, GBA = IBG)
the gba terrorist looks like a waching machine and is called "fahrende bombe" which means sth like "driving bomb"
its just ridiculous
