View Full Version : Blackhawk Helicoptor
Well it seems as if the blackhawk is for medavac perposses only? Man wouldnt be sweet not to mention a faster way to trasport troops. I would realy like to see a Blackhawk for transporting troop and that blackhawk would have two different landing options. Like some units from C&C where a unit when selected shows two maybe three action option windows. Anyway have a blackhawk that would unload troops one of two ways (1) setting on the ground and the infanrty spilled out as if there were a fire in the cabin lol or (2) hovering and the troops would rappel down from the chopper onto building tops or even to the ground depending on the terrian of the landing zone. Where a chopper couldnt land but a stratigicly logical drop point. Like the chinooks in C&C.
Heres an exsample of how it would work first load the blackhawk with the selected troops and instead of reaching the drop point then selecting its landing option. Select the option first so the chopper knows what its going to do before it gets to its drop location. then select your drop location then when the chopper get to it location it dose the selected drop automaticly. To cancel drop order select cancel action option window or select another destination in changing its destination you aborts any selected drop option. Just incase a drop zone becomes hot.
P.S. maybe have an upgradable option where window gunners are added to profide cover fire when exstracting troops so no enemy infantry wouldnt dare follow making a safe exstraction.

Ya i agree with you, there should be 3 different black hawks able to be built. An attack UH-60, a Medic UH-60, and a troop transport UH-60. The troop transport BH should have miniguns to make it more realistic:D

I've seen some screenshots where there were blackhawk models without medical symbols on them, so I'm assuming there will be different kinds available.

BH's with miniguns and infantrie on the site (like the BH's by Joint Operations) must be in the game (for rescue operations and drop-ins).:)

A blackhawk with a rapelling feature is a must. Thats one of the key things that had me pumped about Generals until I found out you barely get to use the feature in game :/
Yes I agree totally. Rapelling is a must and should be 1 of many drop options on the blackhawk and your right about that pumped feeling its these little animationed features like rapelling and ejecting pilots that give the game a more realitic feel to where you almost forget that your playing a game but conducting a real war. Your also right about C&C could'nt do anything with the infantry :(

i totally agree with both of ya becuz i like to use air to transport troops behind the line and humvees ( if troops can shoot out of fireholes) Creates hell for enemies becuz they have to fight off 2 or more places at once

You've got it right Remote, it's in the small details, so when you see awesome animations, that's the icing on the cake!! And gamers all around wants lots of icing!

I think the Transport BH will double as the Attack BH.
The on thing that annoyed me about the infantry in CNC:G is that the super infantry were the only good ones, all other infantry except hackers sucked. they were kinda useless and a waste of money unless they were deployed in a building in mass numbers.
I agree, there should be more than one option with the rappelling to, like say, if you were to drop the infantry onto the roof of a building, then you could select them and have them either garrison it, or just fire from the roof? I dunno, its just a thought, that and it would be cool if you could put like a sniper or 2 in the BH, to give cover after dropping the troops off (like in BHD)
If you're playing the "US Army", you can use transport Blackhawks (can carry up to 8 guys) and land infantry on rooftops and have them either storm into the building, or stay on the rooftop and fire down onto the streets.
The two other sides have different flying transportation vehicles; V-44 rotorcraft for the high-tech Task Force Talon and Mi-35 Hinds for the bad guys.

you are allowed to tell this ? anyway.....
thanks for the info.I just hope that the combat drop wn't be dull as in generals(Most of rengers get killed before entering the structure)
Well in CNC:G everytime you dropped in 1 Ranger died and the nme would be wiped out. That was iritating. but I do hope the animations for everything look cool, and I hope the vehicles values are on, so that it won't be like on generals where you can get 20 choppers in the same place, exactly the same, dropping millions of troops like a sea of them, although it looked stupidly cool it wasn't exactly 'real'.
