Have had a browse through and not found a mention yet, but sorry if i missed this and has already been mentioned:

I started a new sandbox park and decided to make the bulk of it raised up off the floor by a square or two. But i get spammed ingame via the message bar that "People are having trouble exiting RIDE X check to ensure there is a path there" blah blah.

I get this message for every ride in the park that has any form of walkway in the exit. As you can imagine getting that many messages all at the same time at startup can cause the odd CTD.

Other than that enjoying yet another great Roller Tycoon game.

Hi,
This has been reported and 90% of the time it is because of your park inspector being stuck somewhere. If he can't get there he assumes no one els can eiter. Just pick him up with the pincers and drop him on a walkway somewhere. this should fix it.

The other 10% is because your pathways do not line up perfectly. It my look fine but might not be. try to re create the path.

Aha! The inspector issue is almost certainly the case.. can't say that i've seen him since the very beggining of the sandbox session.

many thanks

A follow-up question regarding alsmost the same problem:

Sometimes I see a train being 'stuck' just before the exit of the coaster. It just stands there doing nothing.
All passenger think "I want to get of the train". the only way to fix it is by closing the ride (queue walks away, costs me money) and opening again. The peeps then get out of the train regardless of the position and the problem is fixed.

This was on the second mission with the existing wooden ride. Am I making a mistake somewhere or is it a bug? I cannot find any reason for this...

Regards,
J

I had the same as this and it seems to be a current bug, this especially happens on the river rapids ride (where one boat disappears). This should be fixed in patch 2 (I hope) but for now the only thing to do is to close the ride and reopen quickly - most of the peeps turn around again at the q-line entrance when they see the ride has re-opened. But I agree, it is still a waste of income if you do not realize the ride is stuck right away. (At least peeps don’t seem to complain about long q-times) ;)
