wow.... im stuck jus like rachee, i never thought this would happen. i had to restart my pc so i lost everything. started all ova and flu right thru it and not im stuck. someone please help me and rach! on her la la-land form there is alot of helpful hints but im still stuk. and how the hell am i to beat the checkered flag board? someone please help ussssssssssssss.

how did you loose everything just by restarting your PC? Didn't you save a single game? Sorry just a little confused how this would happen.

I have a couple of RCT profiles that remember exactly where I am. I also tend to save progressively normally around objectives (i.e flag_o1_vip just before Clint turns up)
I also personally don't get this 'must rush through every scenario asap' - why? you don't get anything extra at the end and we won't get new ones this side of easter.
Okay the sandbox is cool, but it is hardly challanging and the scenario editor doesn't have quite the same features as pre-builts do. (yet)

Anyway, aside from that - Chequered flag is easy (almost too easy) make sure you do have update 1 installed though and start the scenario from fresh and not a pre update save game (or it will probably crash)
Personally I cut the two go-kart tracks in half - rebuilding parts so I could cross them over - which gave me:
a: more space
b: shorter go-cart rides
c: more cash cos I demolished the halfs that went further into the park
IF you look at them where they cross over in the valley you can just about see how you could do what I did (i.e. red became yellow and looped rather than figure 8) you could even just ditch them and use the paths they took to build a couple of wicked coasters

near the entrance on the left I built a tilt coaster - which had a 7.4 excitement 3.8 nausea from the start - so it was already high enough for tycoon - (saved it and replaced it near the end cos it was 5 years old and starting to get unreliable)
stuck a water rapids oposite using a lot of the track space the rear end of the cart track 'had' used (excitement 5.4) but rapids are a bit buggy and you have to keep an eye on it
built every western ride I got me hands on throughout the town
stuck in food stalls slowley from the start about halfway through the town bit and near the go-karts on far side - gave extra topping plus lots of choices and was raking it in
BTW Total Shop Profit means 'profit after sales and stock and losses i.e. gift/souvenier stalls etc., which are making a loss will hold you back - (cos it comes off your profits) I didn't put them in untill near the end (apart from the info stall which is nearly always the first thing I put in and train the vendor to max) when I had lots of happy full up and non thirsty peeps

Clint Bushton I just set to ride rapids once, & tilt x2 and he was happier than a cat with two fish heads.
rest of my time was spent theming, widening paths putting in lots of loos etc., etc., even got my buffalo roundabout into the medium excitement. - think at one point I was raking in 500 a month on shop sales.
