To Eugen and Atari,

Great job!! Your models and skins look awesome as does the game from what I've seen in the screenshots. Having said that though, my humble suggestion is to keep the missiles's representation as accurate as possible.

I've seen a few screenshots where the A10, F15 and Apache all fire air to ground missiles. That's fine they all do, but these missiles look the same in the game. In fact these missiles look awfully like Sidewinder air to air missiles. Sorry for sounding like a nitpick, but accuracy is just one of the things that pushes a game to higher levels. You saw the importance when you crafted your A10's, Apaches, F35, etc. The missiles should keep this detail.

of some modders who put in the detail to have their Hellfires to really look like Hellfires. Again, please accept this as a humble suggestion. Keep up the great work.

It is being picky and im all for it. I think every thing should be as accurate as possible. Nothing wrong with have high standards. I say set the bar take it to the edge shoot to excel make the impossible possible. Missiles, weapons, infantry, vehicals, special effects, sound effects even the terrain of the maps. For this game and future RTS games. If you think your suggestion being picky i got a few. How about when your zoomed in and its cold outside you can see the breath of infantry and frost on the tanks. How bout when infantry get in or out of vehicals like a humvee or a bradly they use the doors or the ramp. Even Piliots in cockpits all things I would like to see.

Missiles? sure why not?

They shouldn't look like AA missiles b/c there will be no reason for aircraft to have AA missiles. In that matter, I don't find it entirely nit-picking.

I also agree with that too because i know they've worked hard skinning and modeling everything but its the little things that could have made a good game be great even.

one things I hope they don't do is ruin everything, like Generals does, by making everything overly accurate, I watch on CNC:G as tank shells follow my tank sideways a bit and hit. It really does suck to watch, ALL REVERT TO RA AND RA2, at least tanks missed on that well.

The never missing in Generals bugged me, too. It was kind of funny to watch tomahawks chase my technical though. Anyway, I modded generals for realism, and added new units based on models I found online in other mods. But I beg you, Atari, PLEASE make things miss?

You guys have not understood by what I meant when I posted this thread. I was referring not to the accuracy in terms of the miss distance, but that the missiles be accurate representations of what they look like in real life.

Regarding a missile's hit or miss accuracy, I think it should reflect again reflect reality. A Sidewinder missile is pretty accurate, but it should veer off a bit if flares are used, like in Generals.

But the US missiles should be accurate as they are only getting better as the years pass, not to mention this is a game that's about the future of warfare.
