Are there some ships in the game?
Like hovercrafts and little patrol ships (no big battle ships and aircraft carrier's only little ships, to drive on smal rivers trough a city).

Hovercraft maybe, I doubt there are any other ships though.

In the campaign there will be Aircraft Carriers stocked with either F-18s or JSFs.

NOOOOO!!! DO NOT FOLLOW STEPS OF GENERALS WITH NO NAVY!!! Actually Red Alert is quite good at making the amount and types of units u get, dunno wat happened to Generals though :madred:
They didn't put ships in Generals because they didn't think it was plausible that China let alone a bunch of low tech Third world terrorists could challenge US naval power. I don't think skipping naval combat will negatively impact this game.

That's true, but I like landings on coasts with hovercrafts and artillery gunpower from the water like by Red Alert 2 (With the soviet the rochet ships and hovercrafts). So that's why I'm asking this:p: . But if there's no Navy in the game that's OK two! Land battle's are cool and in a city it is double cool (set ambushes in or on buildings with infantrie)!

There most likely won't be a navy because then every mission has to have water, and most of the combat is city based. Navy units would be in like 1/10 maps, not worth it.

Oh God are you wrong!
Those maps that make up that 10% will be the best...
I don't care if it will be in 10% of the maps, that will make those maps more fun... think of the size they will have to be! That will be great...
I am dissapointed with the fact of no sea units... but I suppose I can live without them...
lol, so many quotes to Generals & other C&c games...

Thats because this game very similar to Generals and CNC is the lead title for fictional modern combat games.
Small naval vessels as was mentioned earlier makes sense, but big ones like battleships and aircraft Carriers won't work becuase its not very plausible that terrorists would be able to assemble a massive fleet to attack America when they can just fire a missile or sneak in a bomb.

True, I was not thinking of small scale ones. There might be those, but I doubt it. Helicopters kinda cover the transport role, and as stated before, the battles will be in cities. It also means that every player must have access to water... and it would be extremely difficult to implement it anyways. The Consortium would also get screwed big time.

hamm,it's pretty possible to make some torpedo boats or terror boats ( suicibut personaly,I don't think thatt hey will put navy .beacus as I see in the screens, most of fight is on land.it will be just too much of work, with lots of allmost unused models.
Well Navy units are fun, and by the way did it really make sense that Russia had a good navy in Red Alert 1&2 seen as they had little to nothing at the time Red Alert is set, but imputting them into the game wouldn't be hard, having all land maps with no Navy is perfectly plausable, like on RA and RA 2, and having maps with navy on for all you budding sailers with bathroom toys galore. Although it would be no surprise if they left it out, as you said it's not like m any countrys can challenge Us Navy power, except the Brits, on a good day. Navy needs to be brought back into RTS games, I have noticed a lack of them, unless there is a Mod out, even then they suck. The only RTS with good navy battles forseen as I can see is EE2, which looks class, but I'm behind times so there may be more games with good navy wars.

what is EE 2 ?
Empire Earth 2, the game with loads of eras of warfare, from neandithul times right up past us to cyber times. Great game leading the way in it's own little run through the times genre in RTS gaming. Although there were som silly things in EE1 where you could win by buying a mass number of the same unit, twas silly.
Many people actually don't like naval combat, so developers have decided that its probably better to cut it out if they can.

I'd not mind haveing navy unites, I can understand why if the devs did not add them to the game; being mostly land wars, but I must say, in ra2 they added some more fun, and a little more strategy to the game when you not only had to watch the ground and air, but the sea too.
