Big PROBLEM - Help Please!

When I Load RCT3, It Loads Till The Credits Screen At The Start (The White One, Just Before The Ad Things) Then The Screen Goes Black And Closes To The Desktop! This Keeps Happening Everytime!!! Can You Help?

Download and install the patch first. Then report back and see if that has sorted the problem. Thats all i can say.

In which case - you need to find out what your mates PC has that you don't
i.e. drivers - are his newer than yours? Make sure you have the latest gfx and sound drivers (links are in the FAQ above)
Does he have a diferent version of windows to you?
What hardware does he have that you don't (i.e. is his gfx card better than yours) - crash to desktop normally means some bit of a driver or hardware isn't working right (even if it works on other games - RCT may make calls to parts of your system that other games don't)

Or even what are you running that he isn't (or vice versa) i.e if you have a lot of bits running in the backgroun and you don't have much memory, you could be running out before the game fully loads. It could even be one of your memory chips is dodgy and when RCT tries to acces that part of the memory it hits an error.

In other words - it is more ikely to be something that is not right with your system than the game itself. The problem is working out what (and hoping it is something free like a driver upgrade:) )

Out of interest what is the specs of the laptop - and how well does it run? We get a few questions on these so it would be nice to know the kind of laptop it does run on.

tell us your budget we will say which card to buy.

also check what ports your mother board has on (e.g AGP, PCI)
