Occasionally I find that the peeps scream sounds get corrupted while I'm playing (particulary the girls). I have a pretty beefy PC and am still getting acceptable frame-rates while this is happening.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
What sound card do you have - and have you got the latest drivers for it?
Even on-board sound cards are often shipped with well out of date drivers - also on-board sound often trys to emulate the likes of soundblaster (poorly) and fails when the demands are too high.
RCT uses masses of sounds all at once (more than most games) which although your PC generally might handle - the sound chip can't.
There are some sound related issues being rectified in update 2 (from what I understand) but exactly what ones and how is yet un-defined.
is it that you speakers cannot rach the top ranges of high pitched audio?

It's not the speakers - the sounds work fine when there's not much going on. And it's only the scream sounds. I'll have a go at upgrading my sound drivers (it's onboard sound my system uses).
Does RCT3 have an option to disable hardware sound? I seem to remember that fixing sound issues in other games.
