Hi guys
Yesterday, i was trying to build some of the coasters from my favourite parks. I started with the Python from Busch Gardens in Florida. However, i came across a problem as soon as i went to go into the double corkscrew.
The problem is this (and its a little hard to explain). Using the loose curve (i.e. the one that turns through 180 degrees in, i think, 6 pieces), i placed 1 piece of track, then added an up section to start the corkscrew. The corkscrew special feature didnt pop up which stopped my from being able to build it as it would have been in real life. The problem seems to be with the grid system that RCT uses (and its not just an RCT3 problem, it hasnt been possible (at least, not to my knowledge) since RCT 1).
Basically, it stops coaster designs from being exactly like you really want them to be, so copying real life coasters is difficult (i had no end of trouble trying to get the first drop on the Montu correct, but thats a different story!).
So my question is 'Is there a way to turn off the grid system, to allow me to build coasters as i would like?'
If ive just confused you, let me know, and il try and think of another way of showing you!
