Go check out gamespot or something, it's not hard to find info on a game when you got this thing called GOOGLE.

OK, well from the screenshots you've seen the graphics are mindblowing. The storyline should be pretty good too, since they got a famous American author of military fiction, Dale Brown. I've heard there's about 45 minutes of cinematics. They might even make a movie later on. Main resource for funds is capturing enemy prisoners. Blah blah. :p:

thats nice! Good story is important...
And base build and so on seems quite similar to me... according to the 3rd ingame-movie on gamespot.
I hope it wont be that unbalanced...
Another question: what do u think, will AoW become as famous as CCG? I mean, CCG is just the name that makes it famous...

I'm just hoping this game will have the support that Generals didn't so that once certain things are figured out by the online communicty the developers can fix them. Similar to what Blizzard does with its Warcraft series, adjust things every once in a while so people have ot learn new tactics.
it's ea games, they just want you buy the game.... I'm sure that atari will mage a good support, like their other game (ut2k4):tonguegre

I'd highly doubt there being much lag at all, because we all know that was the demise of Generals. The resource system is entirely different and so is the use/role of aircraft. You can med-evac troops. There is more focus on ground battles, and infantry gets a boost in its role. When a building is occupied, the enemy does not know that. Therefore, garrisoning buildings gives you a good edge. You can take cover behind just about anything (cars for example). Most of the fighting is in the city. These are all differences from Generals, plainly, and I'd most definetely assume we will see more soon.
i cry when I see what EA has done to Westwood, they rushed them into doing CNC:G and then they brought out a rushed add-on pack both with huge flaws and they never really managed to get a good online community set for people, not the ammount but way used. Hopefully RA3 will sort all out, and have boats and aircraft available. In the mean time bring on AoW.
Edit: I forgot to mention the fact they told them to stop with CNC: Tiberium Twilight F**KERS!

Em, Westwood doesn't even EXIST anymore! If you are refering to the EALA team that did C&C Generals who were previously known as Westwood Pacific (who did RA2), they weren't Westwood at all, only in their name, the real Westwood was in Las Vegas, the old team who did the original C&C, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun and the initial version of Renegade (later taken and abused by Westwood Pacific).
Put it this way, EA screwed Westwood over, and stole C&C only to turn it into nothing more then a logo and millions of cash for fat cats, if anything AoW will pay more respect to C&C then anything EA can ever create under the now false C&C name.
I was talking about that.... jeese.
BUT they still took C&C: Tiberium Twilight!!! Thats an insult to C&C fans everywhere, it was a chance for them to redeem C&C (original series) from the hell of C&C: Tiberuim Sun, cringe factor: 1,000,000

EA already screwed up Westwood party long time ago after they bought over from their company assets.Eventually Westwood company already plan out to start RA3 and Tiberian Twilight RTS project after successfully launch RA2 5 years ago, however they have been directly given order to stop the project by EALA to make new generation RTS games like Generals and LOTR, wat i believe here that EA has make very big mistake for taking grunted and didn't think properly b4 they do something..
