Ok Ive managed to get upto scenario 11 - A National Treasure. The paths in this scenario are the leafy ones (not one of my favs). Anyway, Im happily putting in the rides, etc etc and I keep getting up messages that my peeps cannot reach the entrances or leave via the exits and there are no paths for my janitors/mechanics etc etc. I went over and over the paths, doubly ensuring the entrances/exits met with the general path.

Needless to say, I did get rather frustrated with this and decided to save and reboot my PC - this made no difference. So I carried on with the Park ignoring the messages, as my peeps were riding the rides and buying food/drinks/bleh bleh bleh.

Next scenario - happily putting in the rides and I must admit I didnt receive any messages about my paths, until about midway through the scenario. Did all the checking as above but everything was fine. I did wonder if this happens when there are lots of peeps in the Park and they are blocking the way but obviously not sure.

Has or is anyone else suffering from this problem? If so, how did you resolve it as it is spoiling my enjoyment of the game receiving all these messages all the time.

Thanks

no solution, but you could maybe change the messages options?

When using paths I always use the toggle button and click on the previous path to join it to , that way I have never had this problem as my paths are always joined no problems....:rolleyesa

Hi

Check where your park inspector is, chances are he is stuck somewhere. If he can not get somewhere, he assumes no one else in your park can either. this solves the problem 90% of the time.

the other is not that apparent but I found that when using the CTR key when placing rides, the terrain levels all funny and you can not get a path to connect to your entrance/exits – you then need to dig a hole under where you want the path to go – or go up and then down, not a major problem, but gets annoying when you have your landscaping all planned.

Chances are it is your park inspector though, the messages with a ‘video camera’ in front of them is from your inspector. Just find him and place him elsewhere on your path.

this is something that will be addressed in next update. I can't remember why it does it though. Something to do with paths not connecting. It is annoying but does not actually affect the game. As TRAFMAN says you can change the message setting so it stops telling you about it.

Thanks for the tips. I did have a quick look at the US Forums and it would seem that this does tend to happen on the National Treasure scenario.

Great tips though to remember in the future
