Sorry to post this again but thought there'd be more chance of someone seeing it.
When I try and play the game I'm getting the message "failed to create 3d device" Can anyone help? I've tried searching on hp for the driver, but when Ive downloaded it, it says "integrity not checked, resume?" and starts downloading all over again just to say the same. Unless I'm downloading the wrong one!

Im not sure, but it looks like onboard graphics to me. Its unlikely it supports Hardware Transform and Lighting (T+L) that RCT3 needs to run

Sorry........:frownblue

Well, im not sure about that. If you look at the date, most of the cards made around that time support T+L (mine is mid 2002!)

I think its just a matter of finding the correct drivers, whichever they may be.

Try going over to www.drivershq.com

They have a scan tool that finds if your have the latest driver for your stuff or not, and whether you need to update. You need to register and pay (i think) to update, but its useful for telling u what isnt up to spec.

I think there is a small download involved, but its all good.

Btw, when does the download fail. Does it download fine and then give problems when trying to install it, or is the download failing before its even begun, because if thats the case, it may be better for someone to download it and then send it to you!!

you should be able to find your correct driver on http://www.ai.com

I'll have a look thanks. Its downloading but when it gets to 100% it says "download integrity not checked, resume?" and then just starts all over again.

Thanks but have sorted it now! I'd tried downloading an ati driver off ati.com yesterday which said "no software found" after I'd downloaded it. I've just downloaded the same file off www.driverguide.com and its worked :) I can now play it :Dyay!

This (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?x=6&dlc=en&lc=en&os=228&product=378571&lang=en&y=0&cc=us&softwareitem=hb-21505-1) is the one I had the integrity error for.
